Priority Seating Update?

I was watching a vlog from January and they mentioned that due to COVID and limited seating in restaurants, the normal perk of priority seating that comes with staying at Royal Pacific is not applicable currently. Does anyone know if that is still the case? It's still being advertised on the resort's website as a perk so I can't tell if that's just old info if they've eased back into allowing for this?

Thanks!

You need a reservation at City Walk restaurants for dinner. They were turning away anyone who did not have one when we were there 2 weeks ago. When we checked in at Hard Rock she said to make sure to make dinner reservations if we wanted to eat in City Walk but she indicated the resort restaurants were still taking walk ups/priority seating for hotel guests.

We are here now and you need reservations to eat at table service (no priority seating) ressies have been available 1-2 days out, but not day of, at least for what we wanted. If you want to eat at Toothsome make a reservation asap.

How far out do you recommend a reservation for Toothesome if you’re picky about time?

As soon as you know which day you want to go. Cancelling is very easy (no fee) so if you really can’t make that day try to change it, at worst you just won’t have reservation, but again it won’t cost you anything like disney.

As of right now (I asked at toothsome) it could change? You don’t need a reservation to pick up milkshakes/treats. Milkshakes to go are just a walk up.

We will be there the week prior to Memorial Day. I made dinner reservations at Toothsome’s two weeks ago, and there were already not a ton of options for a Monday night non-holiday.

How far out do they take reservations? Our trip is towards the end of July and I’d like to make myself a note to call so I don’t forget.

I’m not entirely sure. I made all of ours two weeks ago because I saw it recommended on here, and my entire week was already open for reservations.

Would reservations still be required for 1 person or can you sit at the bar? I'm going solo in September so I know things can change by then!

check online now. They are not on the Uni app but just google for zomato, open table, etc.
i made our reservations online and canceled to change days online, rebook, etc.
online is much easier than calling and you can see all the available openings.

With Covid i think you will need a reservation. I guess it could depend on the covid situation by Sept it might be a lot better, but don’t count on that, I would make a reservation.

I called last night and was able to get a reservation for May 14th at Bigfire 8pm (other choices were 4pm and earlier). Got Mythos for 1:00 sunday May 16. Toothsome only had reservations available May 13 for before 4pm (we wanted @8 for desserts so going to do walk up milkshakes)

Last week. Day before bigfire had reservations available 4 and after 9:30. Didn't interest me. I got to the restaurant around 445 and was able to make a reservation for 515, same day. The biggest issue is at park closing and weekends. Party of 2.

edited to add I suspect you have a shot if tables are available 30 -45 minutes before park closing . Probably not toothsome.
