Printing directly onto CD/DVD

Does anyone have a printer that does this? I think Epson is the only one with the feature. I've been quite pleased with it when I can get it to work but getting it to work is a HUGE problem.

I'm actually taking the printer back today but was wondering if anyone had success consistantly using the feature. I'm torn between just exchanging mine and getting something different all together and going back to labeling DVDs instead of direct printing.

The direct printing is awesome. But I can only get it to work maybe 1 time out of 100 tries!

I use the Epson for work and I have had problems getting it to work sometimes. The tray does not want to feed through. It usually has trouble the first disk I do, but i have no trouble with it if I make others after.

I have found that if I push it a little when it starts that it works. So I press print and then slightly push the tray in when it starts to roll. I think the plastic pieces at the end of the tray cause it to stick and get pushed back out. And sometimes if I let it slide all the way through and then reset it, it works the second time, but I still have to nudge it in.

I love being able to print directly on the CD, wish it worked better.

I just wanted to update - I exchanged the printer last night and the new ones works w/out issue. I'm not doing anything differently so it must have been the machine.

I have the R340.
