printing autograph cards

How do you decide which autograph cards to print?
Although it is very easy to find Mickey and Minnie and the gang, what about other characters that are not as prevalent. For example, we are going to Akershus for dinner and we know Belle will be there but we don't know who else. Do you end up printing a lot of cards and not using them? How do you know ahead of time who will be in the parks?

I print cards for everyone and even a few blanks for just in case.
I do not bind anything together, so once we get back I just toss out the blank ones.
