Printed tickets vs actual tickets?

Is there some advantage to the tickets that are mailed to you vs if you print your tickets at home? It's $14 to have the tickets shipped to me which is not a big deal. I'm not really into the lanyards but I'm thinking with having our express pass and tickets that we probably should purchase them. Thoughts?

The ones you print at home are the 8 x 11 sheet of paper from your printer as opposed to a credit card sized ticket. Will you be OK with carrying around those papers? (I've seen plenty of people using them to enter the parks).

Completely agree with the poster above. We were there last week and the tickets we got from UT fit right into the clear pouch on my lanyard. I would not have had room for 4 8.5x11" pieces of paper in my preferred park bag, plus they looked awkward to fold / unfold each time you got on the HE. We transferred between parks at least twice a day, plus arrival. It was much, much easier to deal with the little credit card size.

Go for a real ticket and lanyard.........much easier to get them scanned, than bringing out and unfolding a sheet of paper every time.

Another factor is water rides. Last time I had paper and when I got done it was drenched. Though you could do as I do with my iphone and bring ziplock bags with you and put it in that. But a card ticket you can stick in your wallet for protection.

Is Will Call an option for your purchase? If so, you can actually get the tickets from a kiosk, and that prints out the normal tickets for you.

Awesome!! Thanks everyone. Will call is an option but I think I will just order them and have them shipped to me. Then I'll just have to buy lanyards when we get down there. I didn't realize the printed ones were a full sheet of paper. That would be a huge hassle!!

It really isn't worth the price to have them shipped. Do kiosk pick-up. It only takes a minute and can be done at the hotels or at either park at one of the many kiosks. That will give you the actual ticket.

if you do the print at home tickets, make many copies.
if one gets torn or wet or is unreadable, you have more that you can use still.
