Princesses don't hit, kick or spit! A May/June TR Update 10/17 Snow White Theme Night

It looks so awesome there! I can't wait to go, it will be my first time this year! :cool1:
I hope my Step-FIL can play nice with the servers... that was a concern of mine.

Great pics of the Pixar Pals parade :thumbsup2

Yay on having a 50s PTC server who played along with you guys. Can't wait to eat here on our trip.

I so loved Primetime Cafe last summer...booked our ADR for lunch! While we did not have a great server in character, she was awesome with families around us. Guess she figured that 2 old ladies having lunch really did not want to be hassled with! Crossing my fingers we get a great server!

I have to agree the onion rings were pretty amazing there! I know we will end up with a couple orders...Goo loves onion rings! Personally I am dreaming of that Boston Creme Pie cupcake!

Your going to love it! I would just make sure your Step FIL knows before hand what he's getting into. I don't know what was up with my MIL, she's loves this place and usually plays along :confused3

Thanks, I really thought the parade was great, Ben and I loved it! Good luck on your trip to 50's PTC, it's a bummer that all servers don't get into the part or maybe some are just having a bad day?

I'm sure your server will get into this time, especially with the kids. As a former server I can imagine how she might have thought the 2 of you didn't want to be bothered. Make sure the kids are ready to eat their veggies and keep their elbos off the the table. Our server kept reprimanding mine for the elbows, lol. And I saw another server bringing over a dish of veggies with whip cream and sprinkles on it to a guy who didn't eat his veggies, and yes she made him take a bite, it was hilarious!

Taking a break from the trip report to share our theme day. Our latest movie theme afternoon was Bolt. The kids love this movie and have been bugging me forever to do it so I finally caved. I had a hard time coming up with ideas for decor and such so I decided to just do a lunch and keep it simple.

We started off with watching the movie, I have to admit although my kids must have watched this a half a dozen times, this was my first time sitting down with them and seeing it. I liked it, it was cute! During the movie they colored some pages I printed out online.

Next they ate lunch, cornDOGS and lightening Bolt fries. They of course ate out of dog dishes, but don't worry they were brand new, lol. No dessert but for a snack later they had dog bone shaped Rice Krispy treats, which they decided to try and eat without their hands like dogs!

Our craft was picture frames that they decorated with dog biscuits then I shellacked them them to seal it. I took a ton of pictures of our new puppy and the kids the other day at the park so they choose their favorite picture to put in thier frames. For our activity since Bolt was a tv star the kids used my video camera to make videos of our puppy, not the most exciting videos, mostly just them chasing him around the house but it kept them busy and they had fun:thumbsup2

Great theme night...I love Rhino!! he was my fave in the movie :goodvibes

Great day at HS. We've never watched a parade either. I think we once caught the end of one. Glad you enjoyed it. 50's PTC is so much fun. We ate here once and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Bolt movie afternoon looks like so much fun.

Oh thank goodness that he settled that business with your MIL or I could imagine the trouble you'd hear later!

Oh I love that idea of the picture frames with the dog bones!

Emily will be happy to hear you liked her and her doll's outfits, I actually got that one at Sears, they have a whole Dolly and Me line of clothes at half the price of the American Girl doll ones:thumbsup2

You should try and see the parade next time your in DHS, we really liked it!

Fun movie day! Like the lightening bolts on the table.

Thanks, I a, not as creative as you are in the decorations department but thought of the bolts to liven up the table a bit!

Oh thank goodness that he settled that business with your MIL or I could imagine the trouble you'd hear later!

Yes, if the whole dessert thing wasn't handled we definately would have been hearing about it later, my MIL never complains to the actual person she's annoyed with she just complains to us until we are ready to go crazy!

Ok finally going to finish up our DHS day! Life around here has been so busy that while I've had time here and there to catch up on stuff on my Blackberry, I haven't been able to get on here and respond to everyone's reports and such. August is always such a stressful month for us. We've got 2 birthdays, Christian and Ben on the 23rd and 24th, we've got back to school shopping which I absolutely loathe:headache:, we got one whopping week break from summer baseball to fall baseball for Christian and then soccer has already started up for Sam and Emily. And then I'm still trying to squeeze in a little more fun before school starts, we took a day trip to the beach last week and I think we may do it again this weekend! Anyway on with the report!

After our meal at 50's Prime Time Cafe Sam wanted one more ride on Star Tours so we headed back over there. My MIL offered to sit out this time so I could ride it again. I liked the second time much more than the one we had on our first day! After the ride we made our way back to TSM for one last ride of the trip.

I love this one :rotfl2:

Ok sorry for the mass amount of TSM pictures, I just love the area over there!

Next up the kids had been bugging to go over to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids area. We have never been there so they were really excited about it. Me not so much, I get really stressed about places like this where it is hard to keep an eye on your kids. Call me over protective but I did not enjoy it here. We had my MIL stake a spot out by the exit so noone could leave without us knowing, DN and ODS layed down somewhere and tried to nap I think and me and DH just followed the kids around. We lasted a whole 15 minutes in here and I got one photo because I was just too stressed to take anymore, lol.

When I was finally able to drag the kids away we headed over to see if Mike and Sulley were still out. We lucked out with Mike but no Sulley :sad1: Last year we got Sulley but no Mike so I guess it works out.

My MIL and DN wanted to make it to the final AI of the day so we split up again, the 2 of them went to the show and the rest of us headed over to ride Tower of Terror and Rockin Rollercoaster one last time. DH wasn't feeling too hot so he sat out with Ben and Emily while I rode with Christian and Sam. Afterwards it was still pretty hot out so we cooled ourselves down with some slushees and shopped a bit while waiting for MIL and DN. Once we met up with them we decided that we really didn't feel like waiting around for Fantasmic, for me it's not a must for every trip and the only reason we were even going to stay for it was so DN could see it. DN and Christian ended up staying in the park and the rest of us headed back to Pop to swim. And in the end they ended up not even watching the show because they didn't feel like waiting in line.

One last shot before we excited the park

Once back at Pop we swam, got some fries for a snack for the kids and got to bed at a decent hour, the next morning Emily and I had to be up early for BBB so I was happy for the early night:cloud9:

Up next final day at MK and Emily's dreams come true:lovestruc

Your DHS day sounds like it was a blast! :thumbsup2 I love all of the TSM pictures! It is just SO cute over there!!!

Oh man...BBB is every little girls dream! :cloud9:

I so know what you mean about being crazy busy. My girls started back to school on Monday - so we are just starting to get into a groove again.

I am so with you on that playground. And there is really no where for the adults to sit. My girls have never even seen the Boneyard at AK because I just didn't want to stand around in the heat!

AI was a favorite for the girls this trip. I think if it was up to them, we'd have been to all the shows:eek:

Ha ha I love that picture of Emily with the shackles! You can't really see it's her, but you know it is!
Oh you have me on pins and needles to see what she looks like! I love all of those pictures of TSM! I love that they can do so much with each movie!

Love the p[icture of Emily in shackles...what a great place to take a picture of her each trip to see how much she grows! I am simply loving all of your pictures!

August is crazy for us too, and I am still holding off on school shopping...even though Ab and Goo start a week from today! Ab is set with clothes (her uniforms still look great from last spring), but poor Goo we have to go get uniforms (it is his first year)...trying to teach him the last couple of weeks how to work a belt without any help! Boo is going to public school this year, I hit old navy last month and picked up a bunch of things for the fall for him. As far as supplies...at Goo's school the supplies are part of tution! :thumbsup2 This is the first year to buy supplies for Boo...he is dying to go school shopping like every other kid finally! Ab tells me that she is set on supplies...still has a lot left from last year!

High school cheerleading starts up today...and I am sure the schedule will be packed from here until Febuary with games to cheer at...so not looking forward to that. Along with Boo's city football league, providing the doctor gives us the all clear on Monday with his arm! Now that Goo is in Kindergarten I am sure we will add a fall sport to his schedule...or should I say mine!

Whew...did not mean to take over with this post!
