I really need some help here. I have heard and read some AWFUL things about it. Please tell me your experiences and thoughts. My 7yr old daughter loves the princesses but let's be real about it. I don't know what to do. HELP!!!!!!!

I just ate there last Monday. What did you hear that was awful??

It was Jasmine, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Belle.

They served fresh fruit plate and these yummy cinnimon rolls with icing on top (we asked for seconds).

Then they brought a plate with eggs, potatos, sausage and bacon.

It's not really kid-friendly food but we had a great time. Loved the fruit and buns and the meat and the potatos.

They will make white toast if your child won't eat anything.

They also had new cups that were different from our last visit.

The Princess interaction was fine.

I have no complaints.

We thought it was very good!
DH and I much preferred it to the Castle breakfast, but we let DD choose which one she'd rather do..we were happt she picked the Norway Princess breakfast.
My kids(1 and 3 last time) liked the food.

I am totally frsutrated with the Princess breakfast both of them.

I have been calling since I was able June 19th and I was early and the keot telling me another day another day well that day came and they were both sold out.

we are going in sept.-22- 23-24-25 then off to Universal.

I can't believe they are so limited. I can't believe they make this so difficult in getting PS ressies..

We never ate w/ the Princessed and wanted to this trip but can't - yeas I am mad can you blame me!!

Our girls, 5 & 7 when we went last year, had a great time. Mary Poppins, though not truly a princess, was a joy. Food was great. Fresh fruit, pastries, cinnamon rolls to begin. Girls liked the eggs and bacon too. Brought seconds of everything we wanted. Our girls had milk with breakfast and got a little character cup. The kids at the table next to us had soda w/breakfast and didn't get one and boy were they unhappy! So you might want to ask about the cup. But remember, you'll probably have to carry it around with you all day!

We've been to this breakfast twice and have had great experiences each time. We were seated fairly quickly and the food was fresh, hot and tastey. The atmosphere and setting was great and good character interaction. We will return to this breakfast again.

My dd, my dh and I went in August - LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!

We were late getting in the park, our ressies were 8:45 am (before the park opened) adn I just forgot how much time it would take to get on the tram, and run thru the park!! BUT even tho we were almost 10 min late, our table was waiting - back in the back a cozy alcove with 3 other tables... you could see the Princesses coming out, but remained calm, they would get here!! We had our autograph book, Princess Aurora is DD fav., che came last, but as others have stated, each princess (we had Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, and Belle) took time to pose with photos (I wanted in one or two, plus DD wanted to have a pic alone - no problems) DD talked w/ Belle about her love of the movie, and love of reading, so good interaction...

The food - -all the juice and food you could eat, those cinnamon rolls were DD fav!! DH wanted a little more eggs (firm, and yet creamy!!) they brought us a whole new skillet!! Just ask, the servers are from Norway and you can get some great info from them!!

When we finished eating, I saw that some in another area were just seating and starting to eat, and the Princesses were starting rounds over there...

I wanted to do Cinderella's Castle, but dd wanted Princess Aurora!!

We're going for the first time in October, and DD can't wait. Jasmine is her favorite, so we are excited that she is almost always there.

anita36 - I know it's frustrating, but are you flexible at all with your days and/or times? I had to change the day I wanted, and was able to get a PS. If that's not an option...keep trying. From what I've read on here, you can try to call from your resort (even the day of) and you may get in. Or try as a walk-in. You just never know. I'll spread a little pixie dust for you! :wizard: Good luck!

We also really enjoyed this breakfast. We went last October and the two 4 year olds ate melon, pastries, eggs, and potatoes. We had juice and chocolate milk with our meal. The characters spent a good amount of time with the kids taking pictures and saying hello. I had no complaints and would love to do it again our next trip! But I have to wait a couple months to make PS's .......

We just went to this yesterday and LOVED it!! The princesses were great with the kids..took time to pose with them all and sign autographs and also each one talked to the kids....unfortunatly today when I went to get my pictures developed the roll of film was damaged so I have no pics..I am very upset!! But the food was very good and plenty of it, my daughter loved the cinnamon rolls and eggs and bacon. I loved the potatos and rolls! They would bring you as much as you wanted! I would do this again anytime!!

I can't imagine people saying terrible things about it!

We went in May, just 5 adults, and had a BLAST! The food was yummy, the waiter was great and brought things promptly for us, and the princesses were friendly, beautiful, and perfectly in character! We got some great pics with them! DH esp loved Jasmine ;)

You have to remember with character meals that you are paying for the memories and exp with the characters, not top notch food. THe food was nothing to write home about, but it was classic breakfast foods which we all enjoy. The FUN part was the interaction with the Princesses, and getting to watch the children around us interact with them. Worth every dime and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.

To the person who posted frustrated - Have you called for every time on everyday you are there? They put as many people in that restaurant as possible, and have a wide range of seating times, so I dont think they are purposely making it difficult and frustrating, it's just there is no more room. Every single table was full when we were there. Keep trying!! Some people book it in case they can't get Cindy's, and then cancel. Call each and every day, and check on every day of your trip and every time slot. GOod luck!

Let me add another positive review. We were there with DD (4-yr old), and the awe in her eyes was worth the entire WDW trip. The rolls were fresh (along with some apple butter), fruit was fresh and ripe, and the all-you-care-to-eat skillet foods were as good as you get in any mid-tier restaurant. Our server was prompt, friendly, and never left us wanting for coffee, OJ, or milk. The princesses were all fine, especially Mulan who was extremely genuine and gracious. We loved it, especially the DD!::yes::

I booked through DU and just told my agent that I wanted to go to the princess storybook breakfast..the next day she emailed me and said no problem she booked the day I wanted.....I used to do everything on my own but since I booked Disney through DU and they made all my priority seating ressies I would never do it on my own again...WAY to easy to let DU do it!

Good food
Princesses
lots of people that enjoy good food and Princesses

What's not to like?

We have been to Cindy's twice. EPCOT Princess would be nice to try. DD is Jasimine this year for Halloween. She had a ball at the Disney Store picking out the outfit, shoes, hat and bracelet.

If we do EPCOT Princess I'll let her bring the bracelet. The outfit will be to mcuh to wear around touring.

As for cups - if they give out sovenier cups - wash them in the bathroom to rinse them out and then pack away in the backpack.

Anyone have a picture of the EPCOT Princess kids cup ?
Just wondering ;)

We were there in April and the princesses for that day were Mulan, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella. Yep in Norway. But not Sleeping Beauty :( I guess thats why Cindy was there. But my favorite is Sleeping Beauty. I know they don't guarantee the princesses *oh well*. We did it to see the characters not for the food. We liked Alice the best she was precocious as always.

When the reservations were made they were sure to tell us that Cinderella and Aeriel would never make appearances there...thats odd that you got to see Cinderella there....

I must have had a bad day there because we thought the food was horrible. Eggs looked and tasted like the powdered variety. Pastries were like rocks! Fruit was sparse. Tables were so squished together that you could barely get out of your chair to have a pic with the hurried princesses. Never again. I think CRT is much better all around.

DD and I ate there last Sunday and loved it. We keep talking about the cinnamon rolls with chocolate on them. Mary Poppins along with Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Belle were there. We really enjoyed ourselves and would certainly go back. princess: princess:

We are headed there Dec. 1st, so I'm glad to read positive reviews. I'm also booking through DU and I loved not having to get up at the crack of dawn to try it myself. My older DD is partial to Belle and Aurora, so it didn't seem to matter which one we got for her. My younger DD is obsessed with Cinderella and only Cinderella, but after my DU agent got the PSB for us, DH and I decided we would rather do the Gala Feast dinner buffet and meet Cinderella that way. (that menu sounded much better to us anyway). I do hope to eat in the castle someday, but I am also dying to try some strawberry soup and see the GF decked out for Christmas-so this is the best plan for us. We are really excited.:Pinkbounc
