Does DVC for Less capture contracts that are sold very quickly on the broker websites? Or does it only add ones that are currently available? I know there is an inactive listings toggle, but wasn't sure if contracts would even be aggregated if they were listed and sold before the aggregator saw them.

It should, do you have an example of one that was missed? PM me if you cannot post it here for some reason.

no, none that I know of that were missed. I have heard of some selling quickly and wasn't sure if those would even register. Thanks for all you do with the DVC for Less site. I love it and watch it like it's my job

@rferrar1 - one thing that would be a nice addition, is a timestamp when it switched to sold. Would be nice to see how long some contracts were sitting around

Also today I noticed some new contracts are showing “this contract” price going back way further in the “Market Report” box

Yea, I do notice different things on different devices, but I’m not sure I use favorites for anything except just to say I like it!

Long story short, we put in an offer on a SSR contract yesterday that was just listed and it was accepted. One step at a time but, the "Hottest Deals" section could be a problem for me.

I have not checked out the site since all the new changes. We closed on our house so I have more cash today than last month so it's really best if I don't look because I am positive I would sell myself on more points for a hot deal.

Not the person you asked, but would love to be able to sort by use year.

you can filter by use year. I was also interested in sorting by available points. often I'm not interested in stripped contracts and there's no way to filter to remove stripped contracts.

Really liking the 1 star ratings now! That's exactly what most of the listings are anyway! Great site...my employer wouldn't agree...but great site nevertheless!

Not sure how feasible it is to code it but would love a way to see which contracts were added since you last visited...kind of like how gmail will highlight those. I know it would depend on browser and cookie settings I'm sure but I always have a hard time finding the contract I left off on. If this was mentioned previously please disregard. Keep doing a great job with it!

I'm wondering what you think of this UI to indicate if a listing has been viewed or not. Does it make the card too busy? or just right?

Question not directed towards me. But I like it, especially when looking on mobile. Currently nothing in that corner. Not too busy
Any chance of something similar on desktop, maybe have the last column show an eyeball if you viewed it, and change to a heart when you favorite it.

Thank you! Here's another alternative that uses color variation on the card to indicate whether it's been viewed. A darker card color would represent "previously viewed."

I think this approach might be visually cleaner than using the eye icon, but my only concern is whether users would intuitively understand that the darker color signifies a previously viewed card. What do you (or anyone) think?

Personally I like the different shades, but I would get confused on which shade means what. lol

I wouldn’t mind them being darker or lighter just to separate them from each other, like every other one… or (maybe too complicated), but darker or lighter associated to the star rating.

It's really great of you to take into consideration your users comments and requests! I think both are great and the first one has a "gmail new mail" sort of vibe. I think whichever way you go will be really helpful to those of us that consistently check your site from the same device.

On a side note how often do you scrape the major reseller sites? Just really interested to know...only if you feel at liberty to mention.

The asking prices in the resale market never cease to amaze me. Points are points are points. And yes there are variable such as size and banked or stripped points, but even amongst similar sized contracts the swings between low and high can be staggering. And really size should be the only variable as what is a good UY for one customer is a bad one for another and vice versa. If there are x number of Saratoga contracts all between say 150-160 points then they should really all be priced within a small percentage of each other as there is nothing special or distinguishing between any of the points. Of course this is all Efficient Market idealism and human psychology and desperation plays a huge part...but still...some really wildly different asking prices...especially something like a VB where the swing can often be 100% difference.
