Is the bfast at Akerchus good for an adult bday?
My DH is a fan of Jasmine and I thought this would be a cute gift.

We just got back from Disney World and we took our DD for her third birthday to the Princess Storybook Breakfast. We had a PS for 10, but arrrived earlier and was seated quickly. The food was good I thought and there was plenty of it.

Now for Jasmine -- when she came out, she came over to the table to see my DD and my DH was very interested in her. He kept hoping that he could have a picture taken with her. She was very beautiful and her costume was quite revealing.

I think that you will have fun, I had a lot of fun just seeing the princesses.

Another one who's DH will show up for any breakfast with Jasmine!!

We have already booked CRT. Would this breakfast be too much of the same thing? Or are the characters different enough to be enjoyable for my 2 DDs?

Thanks

My DD has been a very faithful Jasmine fan most of her life so we attended the Princess Breakfast on our last trip. Jasmine was wonderful!! We had the early seating and many, many hours later when we visited the World Showcase Jasmine started out the conversation with "You were at my breakfast this morning!!" Aladdin was shocked to say the least and even asked how she remembered her after all that time and Jasmine simply said, "A lot of my friends come to see me!" If she had checked the autograph book first, that could explain it, but she didn't. In fact, she didn't even touch the book that time.

Jasmine certainly made a huge impression on us that trip.

We were there two weeks ago, and my DH insisted on having a pic alone with jasmine. It came out REALLY CUTE and is going on his desk at work, LOL =)

I think he would LOVE it. REally. =)

We've booked both of these for many of our visits. It's a different atmosphere so that's why we do both. There is some overlapping of Princesses but dd can't get enough of them. Cinderella pretty much hangs out at her castle (CRTs) so you won't see her at PSB (only on rare, rare occasions)...we never see Mulan at CRT's, only at PSB.

Now dd's favorite Belle has been at both, but she's been thrilled to see her in both places (along with Snow White, Aurora and Mary Poppins)...it's a nice way to start the day if you plan to stay in the particular parks they're located in.

Unfortunatley we had to reschedule our trip and I couldn't get into either with dd:( this trip. We'll try a few days before, but it's looking pretty slim:(

As far as an adult breakfast, that's all personal taste. I'm not a big fan of the food at either..I'd recommend other places to go if you're thinking about the food part (and most of them are cheaper:D )--even one's with characters.

We just got back 2 weeks ago as well. Love the food, felt a tad rushed this time around.

emersonsmom, your photos are wonderful! Your little princesses are beautiful princess: princess: . Thanks for sharing!

emersonsmom-
Those are just the cutest pics ever! Thanks for sharing them.

We went over Thanksgiving week and I was suprised that most groups were adults! So, if you are thinking you will be out of place, don't worry! There was a table next to us with two older teenage boys who were really enjoying talking with the princess and getting their pictures taken. It was a lot of fun. Our little girls loved it, of course.

The service and princesses were great. I wasn't impressed with the food.

I think the Princess Breakfast would be perfect for your husband. Jasmine is very attentitive.

We enjoy the breakfast food that is served there, so it's a must do every trip.

We also like walking through Epcot while it's empty.

We were there 5/17 and Jasmine was by far the most beautiful of all the princesses!!! Not sure there's a warm blooded male that wouldn't have enjoyed her breakfast company...and we thought the food was pretty decent infact my mom request the recipe for the potato cassarole.

You can make the PS 90 days prior to the date you want to eat there, 1-407-WDW-DINE.

Hope this helps!

Steph

Thanks bigbabyblues :)

Well only 2 months until I can make my PS then:earsgirl:

2 months too long..then again October isn't coming fast enough:crazy:

I didn't realize the princess breakfasts were so different. Already got CRT. We will have to see if we can fit the PSB into our plans.

emersonsmom - Those pictures are just too cute.

we took dd in dec 2003 and it was freezing cold that am. It was packed inside- I took dd in the restroom and she got fully dressed as Princess Jasmine- only to NOT see her. Mary Poppins came instead. she was crushed. My friend who is a CM asked around to see where we could see her that day and guess it was a tad too cold for Jasmine to be prancing around. The food wasnt bad and our server was wonderful. Im sure we will take her again during the year and hopefully this time she will get to finally meet her. The plus side was a few days home from our trip- dd received a autographed picture from Princess Jasmine and Aladdin- saying how very sorry they were they didnt get to meet her. she carried that card around for weeks on after :D
