What characters are at the Princess Storybook breakfast at Norway Castle in Epcot? Or does it vary? Our DD is 2 and will probably be scared of the larger costume characters if she's close to them. Anyone's kids have fear issues with the face characters?

Actually it was the other way around for our 2yo DD. She loved the costumed characters and would hug, kiss, and touch them. But the face characters she was a little unsure of at first and much shyer with them. However she reapeatedly asks to go back to the castle and have breakfast with "Rella!" I'm calling everday hoping for a cancellation for our last minute Feb. trip, but I also have booked the new Cinderella dinner for us along with a costumed characeter lunch at H & V.

We went in September and my daughter was 22 months old at the time. She loved the princesses and she wasn't afraid at all, not even with the costumed characters. The characters that were at the Princess Storybook Breakfast were, Snow White, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Belle and Princess Aurora.

In December we had the same ones as cinmell, except no Aurora. I kept waiting for another character because there are usually 5, but that day there were only 4. In October it was the same except instead of Aurora there was Mulan in a pink kimono - first time we've ever seen her dressed like that and she was very good.

We just ate at the princess 2 weeks ago. The following princeses were there:snow white, aurora, mulan, belle and jasmine. If your daughter seems fearful, I'm sure they will be sensitive to that, they are very gentle and softspoken.
Enjoy!

It's usually some combonation of Snow White, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Mulan, and maybe Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, or sometimes someone else (Alice, Cinderella, and Minnie have all appeared there at least once).

Question for those who have been?

Will the princess' keep coming around and make their circuit or is it like CRT and they only come once to your table, if you miss them oh well. Found that out the hard way and missed photo opportunities with Cinderella....

We want to do this breakfast with dd this May and PS begins this weekend for us :p

Thanks

We had this breakfast last Wendsday (1/22) (just home today). Our Characters were Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle, and Princess Minnie. Each visited once save Princess Minnie who really was impressed with my daughters Jasmine gown and came around again to look at it. My wife and daughter picked the dress up in Adventureland (only place they saw it all trip long) and it was really colorful and different. Food was just OK. From a food standpoint I enjoyed Crystal Palace breakfast much better. The biggest reception by far was for Princess Minnie.

At the breakfasts the characters only came around one time due to the time constraints and how busy it was. As far as the child having the fear of the characters, on our first visit two years ago our first character experience and dinner was at the garden grill at epcot. It never seems to be busy there and the characters come to your table 3, 4, 5 times during a meal. My youngest daughter, who was just over two at the time was scared to death of the characters when they first came around. Because it was not crowded, however, the characters took extra time and sat down with us and got a little closer and sillier. Before the end of the meal, my daughter loved the characters and ran up to every one she saw the rest of the trip for pictures and hugs. I think that the meal at the garden grill made our trip as the characters were so good and spent the time to recognize a scared child and make her comfortable. It may not work for you, but it was great for us.
