Princess Royal Gathering Availabilty?

So I flaked out and forgot to book the Royal gathering at 30 days out for our Dream cruise out of Miami in Oct. Our kids are getting older now so it’s not that big of a deal, but does Disney save any availability to book once on the ship or just out of luck?

Do the princesses meet on other occasions during the cruise?

In the past, there were a few spots to be had at Guest Services at embarkation. Since this is the first 'go around' since the Princesses have been back, I can't say for sure. It can't hurt to inquire, though !

For our Wish cruise in August, pretty much every princess available at the Royal Gathering (Tiana, Moana, Belle, Rapunzel and Cinderella) did individual meet and greets sometime on day 3 (of a 3 day cruise). I've also seen them meeting individually on some vlogs of people on the Wish too! There was only one meet per each princess though, so I'm sure lines were pretty long! They were all in the atrium, either on deck 3, 4, or 5.

Do they only offer that once per cruise? And what day would it normally take place on a 4 day cruise? Have one coming up in November and want to make sure I grab a spot for my daughter.

For our 3-night cruise, the gathering was held at least on days 2 and 3, and with multiple time slots on those days!

The “Royal Gathering” is a [free] ticketed event, essentially a multi-character meet & greet with ~4 princesses in the atrium. Each princess also has separate individual meet & greets throughout the cruise if you miss the Royal Gathering.

So for people that were 'on it' at midnight, did you have any issues getting a spot? We're sailing B2B on the Wish and I just realized it looks like we didn't get spots for the first leg of our cruise even though we submitted our request to shoreside at midnight on the specified day. Trying to figure out if it's really just that competitive to get spots, or if something went wrong with our request.

I checked in at 1 am instead of midnight and all the spots on 3 dates were gone. I’ve been checking daily since then, and nothing… I have a few more days to try… but not very hopeful… my 7 yr old has been so excited for the princesses to be back!

My wife logged in and booked it as soon as it hit midnight at our 30 days while I was checking in. We nabbed a spot but on our Facebook group most were saying they were completely sold out by morning.

On the Fantasy this past week the princesses were out a LOT as in a LOOOT. except for pirate and Halloween day they were out daily and besides the official meets with photographer also very OFTEN just walking around, very easily to approach since everyone had seen them a LOT of times
