Well, we just got back tonight! I am a little sad and a little glad. I am sad to leave our fun vacation behind, but so glad to be home. We truly had a magical trip. I am starting this tonight and will add to it tomorrow. I am to tired to fully related all of the magical things that happened to us!

Okay, I guess I need to introduce our cast members.

We started our trip at the Tulsa International Airport at 6am on September 2, 2008. My FIL dropped us off at the door and we managed to get the kids, 2 carry-ons, a stroller, and 3 suitcases to the America Airlines ticket counter. The first thing we noticed were the LONG lines. We knew something had to be up. So eventually, we figured out that the computers were down and they had to hand write all of the boarding passes!!!! So we are standing there in line, watching the minutes tick by and convinced that we would miss our flight, thus also missing our connection in Dallas. BLECH! So, finally about 7am, we get our boarding passes and they waive our baggage fee (HURRAY!!!) and we head off to our 7:15 flight. We get to the gate and see another long line...uggghhhh! So my DH notices (while I am in the bathroom with DD for the 3rd time!) that some people are just going straight to the boarding line, so being the assertive one that he is, he heads for that line. The customer service rep gets us on and we board the plane.
We have a short flight to Dallas, but we end up getting on the plane at 8:30. So we are convinced we have missed our connection, as we thought that it left at 8:30. We drag our DD (who is majorly distracted by the airport) to the gate and much to our surprise, the flight was leaving at 8:50 and we got on!!!!!! Our flight was good, but we had to take a detour because of Gustav, so it lasted 2 hours and 25 minutes. Not to bad. We arrive in Orlando around 12:30 and head for the MAGICAL EXPRESS!!!!
More to come...gotta go clean up my disaster of a house!

UGH! Travel nightmares. I dont like them. I'm dreading them when we leave in 3 weeks. It gets so stressful but I'm glad you made it and I cannot wait to hear more.

Welcome to my trip report!
Okay, so we are trying to navigate the airport and end up finding the drop off bus for the Magical Express. The driver says we have to go to the check-in desk in terminal B. Okey Dokey! We head over and my DH waits in a LONG line to check in, while I sit with the kids and start taking goofy picture of myself and the kids.

Once he gets through that line, we are sent to the next line, where we wait for our bus. We get loaded on the bus and OF COURSE my DD decides she needs to go pee pee AGAIN! UGGHHHH!!!! Bathrooms on buses are worse than bathrooms on airplanes. I told my DH that when our DS is potty trained he is taking ALL of the public bathroom duties!
We all clap as we enter the property and wait patiently while we drop off at The Poly and GF. We FINALLY get to our resort and we are all SO excited. I take the kids inside while my DH gets our carry-ons and we start to check-in. They upgraded us to a villa view room on the Lobby level!!! It was a nice beginning to our trip and we had an awesome CM check us in. I overheard a family next to us asking for anniversary pins, so I told the CM it was our anniversary (6 years!!!) and he gave us pins. It was really cool.
Our room was ready right away, so we dropped off our stuff and decided to go eat at Whispering Canyons. It was like 2:30 in the afternoon, so not much was going on, but the Canyon Skillet was so GOOD.
