The dinner is really fun! Of course, I did have AWESOME company! I don't know if most people would like the Back Scratcher...it's a rum & whiskey drink. But I LOVE both of those! I was allowed to keep the back stratchers, but I forgot them. So sad.

Yeah! Another update! How sad Lauren missed 'Ohana. That is a must do for us on every trip. I have never had a Lapu Lapu as I am too afraid it will knock me out. What else is in it besides pineapple? I might have to break down in December as we are eating there on a non-park night.

Looking forward to more and glad to hear all is well with Landon!

The Lapu Lapu is good, but not deadly! It's the perfect amount to get you silly! I think it's just a lot of rum...I am not sure what else is in there! So good!! You should totally try it!!

'Ohana looks amazing! I really, really want to try a lapu lapu but I feel like I'd just fall asleep after drinking it

Can't wait to hear about your first park day!

Go at night, like your first night in FL, like us and then you will need the Lapu Lapu to help you sleep because otherwise you'd stay up with all your built-up excitement!

I love Ohana too! And I could be the president of the Lapu Lapu fan club! I do remember what was in a backsratcher because I was the only one who thought it sounded appealing...it was a rum & whiskey drink! i loved it. SO good!

Lauren and I decided to just wake up when the kids did and I think by doing that, we only missed the Magic Kingdom opening by like 15 minutes—not bad at all!!

We went straight to Splash Mountain! She took Jake first for his FIRST RIDE ON SPLASH EVER!! I was so excited for him. I stayed with Landon while he played and Mallory slept!

Mallory woke up and cried a little, so Landon tried to give her the pacifier. He’s such a nurturer lol.

Then Jake and Lauren came back and Jake didn’t want to again, so I went by myself. Yay parent swap!

I was loving every second! Splash is easily my second love, after the Tower of Terror! I couldn’t wait to be going down this hill!

I was riding with first timers…you can always tell because they always think the big drop is coming. Too funny. I don’t know if I was just over-excited but I felt like the teaser drops were more intense than usual. Finally, it was time for the real drop! And I got this picture at exactly the top! Woo!

After riding Splash, we checked the time…it was just about time for our ADR at Whispering Canyon Café! So we hopped on a boat and headed over. We got there when it was still breakfast but wanted lunch so we waited and the boys played!

Finally, lunch opened up and we STILL weren’t getting called up. Then finally we realized we had left the buzzer thing in the stroller and it had been going off. Whoops! I think we thought each other had it! Of course we ordered milkshakes for our drinks! And of course Landon had to steal mine!

Eventually, our waiter just brought him his own in a kid’s cup. I loved all the food so much! Landon loved the corn bread! It was so delicious there!

We didn’t see too many antics. In fact, the only one I remember is one waiter having the restaurant yell at a lady for drinking her husband’s drink. And we also did the hokey pokey. Landon enjoyed that and wanted to keep dancing after it was over. Too cute. Overall, we loved WCC!

We decided to head back to MK after lunch and we took the boat back! It was very relaxing. I don’t think I would take a boat around park openings/closings because they look SO crowded, but they are awesome mid-day!

When we got back to MK, Lauren took Jake to get his haircut at the Harmony Barbershop! Landon usually gets his haircut in the MK, but he didn’t need to this year, so off we went looking for adventure!

I decided we should go see some pirates, since Landon has recently started saying “Arrr matey!” and it just melts my heart!

The wait was only like 15 min, but Lauren and Jake were finished before we were out! Her kids were tired so she was taking them back from a nap. Once Landon and I got off Pirates, I thought it would be a good idea for us to do the same. It turned out to be a great idea…Landon didn’t even make it to the bus stop!

Lauren was showering and stuff and all the kids were out cold, but I was so restless!! So I asked Lauren if she could keep an eye on my sleeping boy while I headed over to…HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS!! I bet you could all guess why I would go there. BUT would my trip back to my most favorite ride ever be as completely magical as the times before? I mean I DID ride it 11 times in one day last year…

THE MILKSHAKES AT WCC! Those were absolutely delicious. I'd love one right now!

Yeah, Jake's haircut ended up being super fast. We walked in and the man took him right away. That gel they put in the kids hair is a pain in the booty though! When we got back to the room, I put him in the tub because it was getting on everything and making his head itch. He LOVED how it turned his bath water blue. HAHA!

The boat rides are a lot of fun, but I agree that I'll never do it at park opening/closing! I remember standing there waiting for that boat after we finished eating and it was SO FREAKIN' HOTTTT!!!!!!

I want to try WCC my next trip but Kris is such a picky eater I'm not sure he'll find anything he likes. I love WL! Isn't it so pretty? The boats are the best, except at night. The WL dock is the worst. Bugs everywhere!!!

He had a love/hate relationship with it at first, but after he rode Test Track the next day, he had a LOVE/LOVE relationship with Splash. Test Track and Soarin' are his two favorites everrrrr, but he likes Splash a lot. The other day he said, "Mom? Remember how I used to be scared of Splash? Yeah, I was silly. They definitely do grow up way too fast. So bittersweet...I love watching Landon grow and learn new things, but I miss him being so little. And I'm very lucky...he'll sleep literally anywhere. It's nice. You will enjoy WCC too! The cornbread is so good!

I love riding with the first-timers, too -- my brother does this really girly scream right before and during the little drops and you can tell the first timers b/c they start freaking out

That's so funny. I love when people do that. I've never done it on Splash, but I do crazy, loud, super scared screams on Dinosaur just for giggles. All the kids are like "What is wrong with that grown woman?! Is she really THAT scared?"

So with sleeping babies and Lauren showering, I head out to the bus stop. The first one that pulls up is for Hollywood Studios. Already starting out magical! The bus was empty and there was one more stop after mine where no one got on, so I went to Hollywood Studios on my own private bus.

I finally arrive, and of course, I was wearing my tiara. As I’m walking off the bus, the driver goes “Here, Princess, it matches your tiara!” and hands me a blinged-out ring!

Oh yyyeaaahhh! I was on cloud nine and hoping that the magic would follow me to the Hollywood Tower Hotel!

My love! At last, we have been reunited!!

It doesn’t take me long to check in to my favorite hotel and before I know, I’m hearing about other dimensions and waiting for my elevator!

While I was in line, this guy started chatting me up. He was a Florida native and was pretty intrigued by me being from Colorado. He was asking me if I skied year-round and stuff like that and I’m not going to lie, I thought he was dumb. I was thinking, “um…no, it’s not Alaska or anything. We have very distinct seasons, I can’t believe you are really asking me this.” And then, of course, this past 4th of July weekend, all over the news were people freaking SKIING IN BATHING SUITS in July. So I apologize, Floridian, for thinking you were dumb while it was I, the Colorado native, who was wrong.

Anywho, the bellhops start asking for a party of one and I start jumping up and down and screaming and say bye to the nice guy in line and go get on my elevator. I was literally FREAKING OUT. I am usually a pretty enthusiastic person, but it’s that much more intense when I am getting on to the freaking TOWER TERROR. It’s like my peak enthusiasm level.

The bellhop loading me up was named Thor. I always check CM’s names and try to remember them and use them, and luckily, Thor is pretty memorable. I was telling him how it was my favorite ride and just had enthusiasm and pure joy oozing from my pores. I was pretty sure Thor just thought I was a freak, but I really didn’t care.

The ride…was awesome. Is it ever not? I was glad they kept the some of the changes from last year, like how they take your picture first and then show it on the ride, even if it is in a different spot.  The sequence was crazy and I just loved it. My life was complete. I was happy. I was ready to go back to my son and enjoy the rest of the night with Lauren and our kids.

But then, as I was exiting my elevator, I got pulled aside. I LOVE getting singled out at Disney. Anywhere else, if someone pointed at me and said “You! Come with me!” I would freak out and think I was getting in trouble…but I always know it means good things in Disney. (Well…I guess you could get in trouble in Disney, but I behave there, so I know I’m not getting singled out to be escorted out lol.)

What could this guy possibly want? If you guessed he wanted to give me a RE-RIDE, you would be correct!! AHHHH I was so excited. I go back over to Thor’s side when I get escorted back up and thank him so much! Enthusiasm really pays off. Except I felt bad because he had asked if I had ever been taken up that way before and I said yes and told him how I rode the chicken exit backwards many times last year and he was a little disappointed because he thought he was giving me something new.

So, Thor let me have whichever row and seat, I wanted. I picked front row and middle, of course! Then, right before the doors shut, Thor slips me a little something. I jam in into my pocket so I can enjoy my SECOND ride and plan on looking at it later.

The second ride was every bit as good as the first. I could ride that again and again and again and never tire of it!

I finally get off for real and pull out the little paper Thor slipped me! What is it? IT’S A MAGICAL FAST PASS!!

It didn’t expire until after our trip, so I held on to it and went back to the room, so content that the magical relationship between me and the Tower of Terror was still going strong!

Kris likes chicken fingers, burgers, and steak. His seasoning of choice? Ketchup. The most daring thing I've ever seen him eat is calamari which I'm shocked he likes. He has no tolerance for spicy food. The other day we got quesadillas and he thought those were SO hot because they were made with pepper jack cheese. WCC has the skillets and I'd like to try that but I don't think he'd eat any of it! But we have a deal that he can pick 3 restaurants, I'll pick 3, and we'll decide together on one. So if I pick WCC he has to deal!

I can't see your pictures from my work computer, I'll have to wait until I get home to read the latest update!
