I don't see the big deal about him going down the slide with you. Two kids together, yes, they can get hurt but you're his mom.

While I am sorry for you that your trip report has started because that means it is over and you are home, but I am happy for us because now we get to hear about it. I am sure this will be a great trip for Landon due to his age. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about his cute actions.

Sorry that you had the slide issues. We have never stayed at OKW so I am interested in what you thought. I do agree handicap accessible rooms are not great if you don't need one. That is always the first question I ask when I check in to DVC.

sorry it took me a while to comment on this, we lost our power, cable and internet tuesday due to a tornado and JUST got our power back last night so this is my first time on the DIS in a few days. cute story about how Landon and Jake were pretending to be superheroes on the bus ride over, you and Lauren must have been happy to see them getting along. They also seemed like they got along well with kristen and chris which is also nice. Too bad you guys had a hard time with the lifeguards at pool and your hotel rooms. Can't wait to hear about O'hana's!

also the quote from jake about the superheroes not driving buses is SOOOOOOO cute! That sounds exactly like something that my neighbor's son would say, he is about to go into kindergarden this year so he is in the phase where he loves anything that is considered a "boy" thing. The story also sounds like my cousin who is a little bit older than landon is. My cousin LOVES superheroes, his current favorite is spiderman, and LOVES talking about them. can't wait to see what else happened on your trip.

Oh I remember they got it wrong now too!! That was insanity at the pool food place for sure. Didn't she like wait forever for them to make it and then it was wrong and the one she wanted was pre-made and it took like 5 seconds?

Ugh I kinda forgot about that until now! We waited so long and I'm thinking they're making a nice ham and cheese sandwich and when I went up there because they gave me a cheeseburger, she whips a pre-made ham and cheese on white bread out from the refrigerator lol

It's so cute how Landon and Jake seem like little BFF's already. And I love "SUPERHEROES DON'T DRIVE BUSES!"

I was cracking up when I read that Landon told on Kristen for feeding him chocolate cake! My friend's four year old nephew did that to me...I let him have one of those miniature chocolate-chip cookies. When he asked me if he could have another, I told him to go ask his mom. She said no and he said, "But Meghan let me have one!" Whoops

The boys were too cute!! And yes...kids that young will always tell. It's too funny. That wasn't the first time Landon has told on an adult who was sneaking him a treat.

There were definitely tons of hilarious moments!!

We were so close to the bus stop!! It was nice. I really didn't mind that it was the 2nd to last one in the loop either...I realy loved the convenience of it!!

It's so fun seeing it through their eyes...even the bus drive is magic!! (Well...the ME bus there is always magic, but for them it's like a ride!)

Sorry for the lack of updates...life has been crazy!

Last weekend, Landon and I spent in the hospital. He basically had an asthma attack and that's what they treated it as because he has no personal history of asthma and no family history either and he wasn't introduced to anything that could've triggered it. It was rough, but my little boy is back to himself now and is doing much better!

I've also been training for my 5K obstacle course. I'm pretty much constantly sore lol but I'm getting in good shape! If you remember Stephanie from my last trip, she is running it with me and she's who is making my runs so hard! It's good though...I like having someone who pushes me to my limits!

Then tonight, we have a football game. It's a big game, against the only team in the league we've lost to (that week when I was in Disney!) So tonight, we're going to beat them finally!!

Once we were all showered and fresh, we hopped on a bus and headed over to the Poly!! First stop? To get lapu lapu’s, of course!!

YUM!! So delicious…we are all big fans. Hooray! Then Kristen and I went and got us all checked into ‘Ohana! There was a small wait because there was TONS of smoke coming from ‘Ohana. But that was okay. We just talked and tried to keep the kids from going too crazy.

We finally got seated and got Newton for our server. He was awesome.

Kristen and I finished our lapu lapu’s and she ordered a frozen margarita, I believe, while I got a Backscratcher. But then Newton brought it out WITHOUT a back scratcher. I was sad, so I asked where it was and he brought me back two. Aw.

Sadly, Lauren left this dinner early. Jake was pretty tired. She gave me and Kristen her lapu lapu, which we happily shared.

We spent the rest of the meal laughing, talking football, etc. Landon enjoyed my back scratcher…except he thought it was a fork. Luckily I hadn’t actually used it yet haha.

At one point, I went and got us all leis!

Towards the meal, out comes Newton with a cupcake! We hadn’t listed any celebrations so we inquired what it was for. Basically…it was a cupcake for being awesome!!

Aw, it was so sweet!! Such a good meal!! I loved it!! Newton was awesome, the food was awesome, but the company really was the best. I had so much fun at this meal! I mean how could you not?

After our bill was all settled, we left happy. It wasn’t until I was on the bus back to OKW that I realized, I forgot my TWO back scratchers. Sad day. I was so sad. Who am I kidding? Was? I’m STILL sad about that!!
That night, I couldn’t stay too upset over my forgotten back scratchers, because it was our first park day in the morning!! Woohoo!!

Yeah! Another update! How sad Lauren missed 'Ohana. That is a must do for us on every trip. I have never had a Lapu Lapu as I am too afraid it will knock me out. What else is in it besides pineapple? I might have to break down in December as we are eating there on a non-park night.

Looking forward to more and glad to hear all is well with Landon!
