Princess Kimmy and Landon Bear Return Home!!

I'm here for your TR!

I know this isn't what a momma likes to hear but I do think your DS looks older in this years' pic! He lost some of his 'baby face'. Aww.

I would be freaked out if I heard the airline say the plane I just got off was broken! Scary!

Can't wait for more!

Followed you over....your joint trip looks like fun can't wait to read about it from you & Kristen.

Hey Kimmy, i'm joining in! Can't wait to read all about your trip, it sounds like you guys had such a great time.

Tower of Terror is my favorite too! I think my record is 6 rides in one day (we were alternating ToT and RnR back and forth for hours!), so you have me way beat!

I only have McDonald's breakfast at the airport too! It's just so bad for you but at the airport I'm like, "oh, i'm on vacation, who cares!"

Landon is so cute! I love the pics from each year to see how he has changed.

Can't wait for more! popcorn::

I am SO glad that picture of me walking off of the plane is from a distance... the face I'm making does NOT look pretty! ;)

I'm here! :wizard: And I remembered to subscribe!

I know what you mean about that Disney excitement. I am the same way! I am not a morning person, but I would get up at any time to leave for Disney World!

Glad to hear you guys got there with no troubles. AND I'm glad that nothing went wrong with your plane while you were in the air!!! :scared1:

And you're now officially ahead of me since I haven't started my TR yet. :rolleyes1

Yay!! I'm so glad you are here!! Like SUPER excited!! You have to post a link to your tr whenever you get around to starting it.

I'm not a morning person either, so rough! But when it's for Disney, I'm not even phased!!

Yeah, I was so grateful I made it off the plane alive! I bet they didn't want anyone to panic. I would have never even known it had issues if I hadn't been waiting for Lauren.

I'm glad you started, I'm definitely joining in:goodvibes

Thanks for joining!!

tring to catch the first page before i read.
:thumbsup2

You got the last spot on the first page!! :woohoo:

okay all caught up, and actually read the updates this time....i do miss flying southwest havent flown with them for about 3 trips now...

looking forward to the rest of the report.

I do love Southwest. I got flights from them nearly $100 cheaper each way than every other airline!

The good stuff is coming!!

Joining in (: Landon looks as cute as ever!

Aw so glad you are here!! Wow, I've been such a bad Dis-er lately! I'll have to go see whats going on with you!!

Yay, I'm glad you started! :goodvibes

Thanks!!

can't wait to hear about a trip with small kids! Caleb was 16 months when we went and he should be just 4 during the time I am attempting to talk DH into taking the next trip!

I love trips with small kids!! And I'll love them with bigger kids too I'm sure! I just love trips to WDW in general!!

I'm here!

Hooray!! You were SO missed during this trip!! Glad you are here!

Aw, you are right...I don't want to hear that! But I know it's true! Like Woody once said though, "I can't stop Landon from growing up, but I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

I was just thanking the Lord that we had landed safely!!

Followed you over....your joint trip looks like fun can't wait to read about it from you & Kristen.

Thanks!! It was a great trip together!! :goodvibes

I remember reading your first TR! Landon is getting soooo big! Can't wait to hear about the fun y'all had. :goodvibes

Thanks! Yeah, he has grown SO much since then! The trips keep getting better and better!!

We did, I can't wait to share more!!

Yay!! I love Tower of Terror. I think RnR is great too, but I prefer drops over going upside down, hence my preference!! Alternating sounds like it must've been crazy!! When I got my record of 11 times, I didn't even go back through the line but up the secret elevator! (I'm pretty sure it's the chicken exit.)

Joining in, sounds like you had a great trip! Landon is adorable! :)

Thanks!! Glad you are here!!

Hey girly! Can't wait to hear about the trip, even though I was there!

I totally understand! I can't wait to relive the highlights through your eyes either! :rotfl:

I am SO glad that picture of me walking off of the plane is from a distance... the face I'm making does NOT look pretty! ;)

I'm sorry! I totally sneak attacked you with that picture  I can be awkward sometimes! I like it though...nice and candid and fun!

Hey guys!! I will posting another update real soon! Life gets crazy!! Between work, training for a 5K obstacle course, and football, I'm busy enough! This week has also been sprinkled with a fun little thing called "Canvas & Cocktails", in addition to a bridal shower, my mom's birthday, my friend's son's birthday, a bbq, etc. Sorry!! More soon though, I promise!

And if anyone cares...my football team won 51-0 last night. :goodvibes

Wow, that's so awesome! I didn't know they ever let people go up that! I thought it was only for the chickens haha. Do you know a CM or something?

I stared at this page for a full minute before I realized there is no like button on DIS. Facebook has spoiled me.

that must have been because you were back huh?
:thumbsup2

That's what I like to think! :rotfl: The evidence is there...the only game we have lost was the only game I didn't attend because I was in Disney World. Coincidence? :confused3

Nope! They let you!! And on that trip, I did not know a CM! ;)

Lol...you're so cute. I'm the same way. I always want to like stuff...not limited to other internet pages.

Lauren and I started making our way over to ME. The boys were entranced by the sights of MCO, their favorites being the fountain and a picture of Spider Man. We got right through our line easily, we were the only ones in! The boys were being silly and running back and forth between the ropes. After sitting on a plane, they both had a lot of energy!

(Lol, I have no idea what Landon is doing in that 2nd picture. He’s silly.)

We waited about ten or fifteen minutes to be able to board our bus. By then, quite a few people had gotten in line behind us. Luckily, since we were first, we got to get the front row!!

The boys continued their silliness on the bus. They would put their arms out, Superman-style, and pretend they were flying. At one point, it kinda looked like they had switched from flying to driving, so we asked if they were driving the bus to which Jake replied, "SUPERHEROES DON'T DRIVE BUSES!!" Pure hilarity. Probably my favorite quote of the trip. The bus driver heard him too, and chuckled.

Finally, we saw this beautiful sight!

It was so exciting!! And, Old Key West was the first stop!! Hooray!! Chris and Kristen were waiting for us when we got off and sadly, I don’t have any pics of this. What the heck? I didn’t even realize we didn’t photograph that until right now!

Even though we did online check-in, this check-in was the longest I’ve ever done, but only because we were trying to get a room close to Kristen and Chris and the Hospitality House. I don’t remember what room they finally gave us, but it was off Peninsular Road. During the whole ordeal, a CM gave Landon and Jake some swords to play with and they went nuts in the lobby!

Finally, we were on our way to our room! It was a handicap accessible room though. But, we just proceeded to let the boys (and, ahem, myself) jump on the beds.

Then, we went and got some food from Good’s to Go. If I can remember correctly, Jake and Lauren shared some grilled cheese, Landon and I shared some chicken nuggets, Chris got a burger and…I can’t remember Kristen’s for the life of me. We also got some drinks! We tried some of OKW’s signature drinks, the Sultry Seahorse and the Turtle Krawl. They tasted really, really similar, though I slightly preferred the Turtle Krawl. Then, Lauren and I went and added our tickets to our cards and when I came back, Kristen was sneaking Landon chocolate cake. And he told on her. Hahaha. It was cute. I didn’t mind at all, it was just funny!!

Then, Lauren, Jake, and Mallory went back to rest while Chris, Kristen, Landon and I hit up the pool!! It was so fun. Kristen stayed with Landon while Chris and I went down the crazy fun sandcastle slide. Then I remembered that Tinkgurl’s fiancé would bring their Little Man down the slide on his lap, so we decided to try that! Landon loved it and wanted to go again! The second time a lifeguard told us he had to go by himself. So we got the life jacket and tried that and Chris and Kristen caught him on the bottom, but he was screaming the whole time. And I really don’t see how that is safer for a kid Landon’s age. I Rafiki-ed him up out of the water (that’s what I call it…I realize now no one might know what that means. It’s in reference to Rafiki holding up the lion cub whenever they are born.) so he didn’t get any water in his face or anything. When he goes by himself, even with a life jacket, there’s no way to stop him from going underwater for even a little bit, and he doesn’t know to hold his breath. I can see how it would be more dangerous for older kids to go 2 at a time, but seriously, a toddler can’t sit up on a lap? I was a little annoyed by this, if you couldn’t tell! Even though Landon didn’t like it by himself, he still did want to go again but with me. So he wasn’t turned off by the slide completely, just going solo.

Since Landon could only ride solo, we left shortly after that in order to stop him from having a meltdown since he couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t take him down the slide anymore. We got back to the room and showered…with the handicap accessible shower. Water EVERYWHERE. So Lauren and I called and requested a different room. The bellhop came and got us and all of our stuff. Our new room was 1910, just off Miller’s Road. Our room couldn’t have been closer to a bus stop, which was awesome!

And then we were off to…’Ohana’s! (And I promise that update will be infinitely more entertaining than this one!)

"SUPERHEROES DON'T DRIVE BUSES!!!" Chris and I still say that all the time :rotfl:

It was such a fun, semi-relaxing afternoon! Going down the slide was so much fun and I think Landon enjoyed going down alone, even though it scared him

For lunch I got a ridiculous ham and cheese sandwich that was literally on Wonder bread. Not very tasty! The chocolate cake I shared with Landon was yummy though! :thumbsup2

We got a handicapped room when we were there as well. It's OK for adults only, but with the little guys I can see where you'd want a bathtub!! It looks like the the little guys hit it off right away :thumbsup2

And they gave you the wrong thing at first! You were like, "Oh no! They'll get this right!" :lmao:

*************

I still laugh at what Jake said... "SUPER HEROES DON'T DRIVE BUSES!" :rotfl:

I still say it all the time too!! What a crackup! Best line ever!!

Landon does like the things that scare him...I think if it would've been too bad he would've never wanted back on that thing!! It was fun!!

Oh right, I remember that now. I'm glad you and Landon enjoyed the chocolate cake! Can't go wrong there!

Oh yes, it was not good with little ones!! Landon is the reason whatever was all over the floor, I assure you! We hadn't even thought of how it would be bathing the kids before that...it was rough!

And they gave you the wrong thing at first! You were like, "Oh no! They'll get this right!" :lmao:

I still laugh at what Jake said... "SUPER HEROES DON'T DRIVE BUSES!" :rotfl:

Oh I remember they got it wrong now too!! That was insanity at the pool food place for sure. Didn't she like wait forever for them to make it and then it was wrong and the one she wanted was pre-made and it took like 5 seconds?

Jake says some pretty funny things...that may have been my favorite though!

It's so cute how Landon and Jake seem like little BFF's already. And I love "SUPERHEROES DON'T DRIVE BUSES!" :rotfl:

I was cracking up when I read that Landon told on Kristen for feeding him chocolate cake! My friend's four year old nephew did that to me...I let him have one of those miniature chocolate-chip cookies. When he asked me if he could have another, I told him to go ask his mom. She said no and he said, "But Meghan let me have one!" Whoops
