The queue ID doesn’t lock in once someone uses it, it only locks when the first person who uses it gets through. All others who might use it get blocked once it tries to go to the registration screen.

This is why I recommend sharing IDs via DM.

Just as a data point (in case anyone is keeping track of these things) my Google Chrome window which was the first one that I opened (around 9:43 a.m.) was my lucky window. My countdown started at 24 minutes.

Thats how mine worked this morning. The first 2 browsers I signed into were the first 2 to come through.

I got lucky and processed through the queue and registration in about 20 minutes. My first RunDisney (non-virtual) race will be a 10K in February! Whoo Hoo!
