Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (Feb 20-24 2025)

You guys are so awesome here. I knew NOTHING about RunDisney except that the days I was going to Disney World was going to be an event. I asked some questions and you all answered so nicely. My daughter and I didn't know anyone that was running but that did not stop us from dressing up as Grumpy and Snow White to cheer! We go SOOOO much positivity our way and my daughter was over the moon. I asked her what her favorite part of the vacation was. I thought she would say Disney World or the Disney Cruise that we took immediately after. Nope, it was this event.

It made me shed some tears. My kid is 9 and she's starting to do her own thing with her own friends. It's nice to be part of her little world. I love being with my kids. I got a cool room at the Dolphin that my family could see us cheer from.

Cheering is awesome, but the next step is joining in on the racing fun Basically anyone of almost any mobile ability can do Disney 5Ks, and kids as young as 5 can be registered for them.

Princess 2026 registration is in June of this year...

This is SO sweet! Thank you for taking time out of your vacation to cheer us on. Sincerely, the spectators make a huge difference in the race experience. I do encourage you and your daughter to join us sometime, but if all you ever do is cheer us on, that's enough too!

I'm pretty sure we will do at least a 5K in the near future. The costumes the runners had were so cool and I know she wants a part of that. And I want to be part of the planning process with my daughter. I'll invite my wife too but she's the type to chill at the hotel lol. Everyone enjoys the vacation a little different and that's what I love about Disney. There's something for everyone.

This signage was in the rD area at SS expo today and it's got some folks in a tizzy. If you look closely, each line is a different font and it seems to be a hint about which princesses will be the themes.

I've gone WELL down this rabbit hole and I'm pretty sure Jasmine is represented by the word "princess", though that's also just the generic Princess font they use now. The "weekend" screams Merida to me. I can't figure out the bold font or if the colors mean anything? Green/teal and orange could mean Ariel and Merida... but who else?

I'd love to hear everyone's theories!

the orange font made me vaguely think of a moana sweatshirt my daughter had a few years ago...

so mayyyybe Moana? but who knows at this point!

Guuuuurl! It better not be Merida! Do you know the things I'll have to do to convince DH that I should get to do MW in January, PW in February, and then the big hiking Spring Break trip in March? And you just KNOW she'd be the freaking Challenge so I can't just fly in/out for 1 night to make it happen. Anyone have a couch I could crash on?

[Goes to look at the 7mo window for MW so I can figure out how long to drag feet on possibly changing part of MW to a 1br and still have enough points hanging out to snag a studio for PW.]

I know I saw the Princess medal bag at the runDisney shop in the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs the other day, but I don't remember what, if anything, else they had that was weekend specific
