Princess Gabby's Surprise First Trip to "Where the Princesses Live"

I think that's exactly what I would do. When we were at Toontown this past trip, the line for the fairies was 70 minutes! But that was later in the afternoon. You can always do Toontown first on your first MK day and then Fantasyland first on your second MK day.

Lisa has anyone told you that YOU RAWK lately?? If they they should because you DO!!!!

Was able to check two things off my list!
Ordered the autograph books for my nephews because my sister is a slacker:rotfl: and I want it done.
Made the parking reservation for the airport.

You so sound like me. My sisters are both slackers too and I get frustrated as heck at them. Usually, I just take charge and do whatever it is I am waiting on them to do.

I know you are glad to get the airport parking reservation checked off your list!

How many more things are on your list?

Lisa YES!! I am a planner and my sister is more laid back so we clash when it comes to get things done!! She does not really get the Disney hype either which is another reason why she was not moving- she said the boys really would not care about a book- which is part true. The oldest(almost 8) prob. won't care and the youngest (almost 5) won't care BUT he WILL ask why Gabby has one and he does not, which I don't think is fair to do to kids.

Wow, you are so very organized. I can't wait to see the t-shirts when you are done. Do you already have postcard stamps or were you planning to get them at Disney?

Wow! You really do have lists don't you! The good thing is you have a whole lot of those things done already. Also, some of the things that you need to still do/buy are pretty easy to do/find so that's good.

I was just over on the Disney Photopass site and saw that there are a couple of special offers. I remember one being $15 off the CD. I don't remember though if it was for pre-purchase. It's definitely worth you checking it out to see. Hey, fifteen bucks is fifteen bucks.:thumbsup2 If you don't see it on the site, let me know because I emailed the link to my cousin (who was at Disney the same time we were).

I bought our pop-up hamper thing from the Dollar Tree. You know what I found to work better though (and hold more clothes)? The mesh laundry bags that are sold at Dollar Tree. I could smush the clothes down into it and it was easy to carry down to the laundry. We only did laundry once while on vacation and that was only because Mama wanted to do it. The clothes that were in the other laundry bag when we left, I just left in there and crammed the whole thing in our large suitcase.

The Walmart in our town has the mister fans. I remember them being cheap in comparison to those sold at Disney. I think they were about $10.00. They also had small misters. They are about the size of a large cassette tape and had a clip on them. I gave one to Hunter last year and he'd clip it onto his belt loop so he didn't have to ask for it every time. We refilled the water chamber when we saw water fountains. I think they were about $3.00.

Lisa,
thanks for the tips on the photopass, can you send me the link??
I have been stalking my dollar store for the tents- but the bag may be a good replacement.
We are staying at OKW so our washer and dryer are right in the units.

I forgot to tell yall what happend to my toe nail. After swim class we stopped at the dollar store. My keys fell off my ring and hit my toe-it hurt but I was glad it hit my toe or else I would not have known my house keys had fallen. Fast forward to home where I take a closer inspection of my toe to see that the key has put a hole in my nail from the bottom to the side(because my nails were very soft due to being in the water that long).. the nail was hanging on and I had to clip it off so it would not rip..so now I have a little piece of toe nail on the side on my BIG TOE!!
I was like WHY WHY WHY right at the start of summer!!!

Yuck yuck and more yuck! Your story of the toenail made me cringe.

Let's move on to happier subjects......here's the link to the $15.00 off the photopass cd. Like I said, I'm not sure it if applies to prepay. Won't hurt to look at it though.

Lisa..sorry to gross you out!!LOL

Ok, now that Gabby's moving up ceremony is over - I can focus on the trip.I have not made any shirts. It is so hard to find time to do this. DH works evenings so I am home with Gabby in the evening alone- I can't do anything on the sneak cause she is RIGHT there..lol

But I will work on them!

My nephews books came this weekend so I can cross that off.

OMG.. I am at the 25 day mark.. I am starting to get paniced!!
Ok.. I am going to do AT LEAST one thing a day to get caught up

I know that semi-panicked feeling you get when it's less than a month out and you start thinking of the things you still need to do. Try not to worry too much because it will get done. Like you said, maybe you can do one thing per day and start knocking things off your list.

Netta it's not boring at all. I finally have gotten caught up and read thru to the end. Thank God for people like you who keep me entertained and lessen my anxiety until I can get my Disney fix in. I am thoroughly enjoying it. I have also been reading 'mickeystoontown' trip report. I'm mostly a lurker but will stop and say hi on her report as well.

I think you guys are amazing for making the trip so magical for your family members. My family is WAY to big and too many are going so I can't seem myself to do the planning that I would want to do for fear that I'll loose my magic when all my hard work and planning gets tossed aside. :scared1: So I'm mostly playing this one by ear.

My trip report was same as yours at first nobody had joined in... it's still like that :( Oh well!! Hope you enjoy your trip

Hey ladies!!! Welcome to my report and thank you for the great compliements!!
Pa2disney..maybe you could do small things so that it won't get lost... how many are going with you?

There will be 15 in my group. Seven from my immediately family (me, DH, DS(12), DSS(13), DD(15) and my 2 neices (8 & 10). Also will be my sister bringing my brothers boys (13 & 15), my SIL/BIL and their son (13), and another SIL and her son (16).

Since most of them are in their teens, it does limit me on some of the cute ideas. Any budget friendly ideas? I'm thinking about surprising my family by adding the WP&M option. My DS12 is dying to try out Typhoon Lagoon and they loved Disney Quest. And with the hot July temps, I'm thinking this will be a plus for me as well.

Typhoon Lagoon is really fun! We've been twice and had a blast both times. It's definitely someplace that teens will enjoy. How many days do you guys plan on being in Disney?

I agree with Lisa.. The teens will def. love the water park and quest!! They will be happy about that. It depends on the teens, some teens will wear matching shirts or shirts with the same theme..
Have you thought about a Grand Gathering?? That may be fun as well
