Princess Gabby's Surprise First Trip to "Where the Princesses Live"

Hey, Netta! I too am in the process of planning my first Disney trip for my daughter is just turned 11. What advice would you give a first-timer for trip planning? If you had it to do all over again, what things do you think you would change?

Hi Leslie!! Welcome!!
For me I would have def. purchased park hoppers. This is an ongoing debate here if you need them or not. I didn't think I would because I had planned each day to go to what park..BUT being flexible and having to change some of my plans we actually wound up not going to DHS at all because my daughter fell in love with MK and wanted to go there more. If we had the park hoppers I would have been able to do parks that she did not really care for(like Animal kingdom) in the am and them MK in the evening.

Also what really helped me was TGM that helped me pick what days I would go to what parks and we really did not have big crowds even in July.

I don't know what phone service you have but Verizon has a app that is wonderful!!It helped us find characters and where they were at what time.
How long are you going to be there??
What kind of things does your daughter like?

Here is a link to my trip report if you want to read it
