Primeval Whirl

I show on the MDE app that Primeval whirl has a 48 inch height requirement. Is this a misprint? 48 inches is the highest of any ride at disney. I don't remember this ride being that extreme.

It all has to do with the restraint system.

It's also a very jerky ride and a little person could slip thru the restraints that are on it.

OH believe me once you've been on it you'll understand why it's a requirement.

It's a Mousetrap style ride. One of the scariest on property in my opinion LOL

I was floored by how crazy this ride was when we first went on it a couple years ago...before that we always skipped because it looked lame. I assure this ride isn't lame and is actually one of the more thrilling rides avail! Not surprised by the height req based on how the restraints are and how crazy of a ride it is.

Yep, it slings you around a LOT. We love it though! It's one of those that makes you laugh the whole time you're on the ride.

There is a good reason people call it Primeval Hurl.

We love this ride. We're usually cracking up the whole time while we're getting our heads, elbows, hips and knees banged into everything and each other. lol

My husband almost had a panic attack on it because it feels and looks like your going to be thrown off the track lol... My 5 year old didn't like it ither, it actually hurts to ride, reminded me of barnstormer with the jerkey-ness and how uncomfortable it was.

It is like the "Wild Mouse" where you can't see the track and you change directions very quickly. It was the one ride at the Exhibition I couldn't go on.

It is one heck of a fun ride though! We need to ride it at least once a trip, but yes you do get jostled around.

The highest is not Primevil Hurl ... I mean Primeval Whirl.
In Disney Quest, Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster has a height requirement of 51"!! Yes, a ride decorated with giant Buzz Lightyears does not allow children under 51" to ride. I think that's crazy - adjust the ride to accommodate younger children or change the theme to one that's not so attractive to little kids.
