Primark.

I went to Manchester today and discovered primark for the first time, I have heard lots of people rave about however I have never been. It was fab, I got 3 dresses, a skirt and 2 tops and a pair of shoes all for £36 for my trip to WDW.
I also got a lovely Hawaiian style dress which I am going to wear to ohana, it only cost £7 from H&M, I also got DD a Hawaiian print dress to wear.

Its a popular shop around here we have quite a big one in Burton on Trent. The store used to belong to Littlewoods and covers two floors. There used to be one in nearby Derby but that has now closed and I belive a lot a people come from Derby to Burton to shop specifically at Primark.

We have quite a large Primark here in Aberdeen, but the one in Glasgow is huge. It's always busy too !

I love primark whenever i used go down to town id always go to primark. They dont have many primarks round here though!!!!!

We have a couple one in Newcastle city centre and one in the MetroCentre. It's always busy in both shops, they are not small either.

I agree, the Primark in Manchester is great for a bargain. Trouble is, even though it's massive, it always seems to be heaving, and there are always clothes all over the floor Sounds like you bought some great things though

Sounds like you got some great bargains, Claire. I have never been to Primark either though my friends at work are always on about it. If we are in Manchester centre, I am usually in Afflecks Palace for most of the day!

Well done, Primark is great for bargains. i get all my underwear there, they have the comfiest bras ever, and I used to get my DDs summer dressses for about £2 each!! I must go have a look really

Primark is great as long as you've got the time to spend in there as the line for the changing room and the till is always about a mile long.

The one in Birmingham is hell to get around in, pick stuff up at, pay for stuff at etc etc, and Im not really the hugest fan of the clothes.
The multi-pack underwear however is incredibly good value lol

and that's exactly why I never seem to get anything from there, I always walk in one door and straight out the other!

My DD loves it though, luckily I can now just give her money and she goes shopping with her friends

I used to pretty much live in Afflecks (grew up in Manchester) but it's just not my scene anymore! All the clothes look the same now and the "vintage" store cost an arm and a leg and are mostly hideous!

As for Primark, I love the place!! I got a great see through top thing to wear over a bikini for our WDW trip and I too buy all my underwear there. The girls boxers are great and for only £1.50 you can't say no can you?

Do they do lads clothes in Primark?...i don't think i've ever been in one. And if they do, are they actually any good?

They've just opened one up merry hill, i only go in the evenings after work as it's so busy...some nice stuff! Yeh they do both girls/guys clothes

I think to enjoy this shop you have to like shopping. I hate it and nothing gives me more fear than walking past Primark in Leeds and seeing it heaving with most of the clothes all over the floor and queue's a mile long for the till!
