I was wondering what the average pricing of various items in the shops at the Wizarding World are especially Honeydukes. I've read some reports that things are overpriced. Is the Forbidden Journey photo really 40 bucks? That seems like way to much in comparison to prices of ride photos at Disney World.

We bought

Regular butterbeer in collectable cup 9.50
Frozen butterbeer in collectable cup 10.50
Goblet of Fire that lights up $16.95
Wand $31.62
Gryffindor Keychain $9.95
Post cards .55 each
2 Chocolate Frogs $9.95 each
Honeydukes chocolate bar $4.50
Pumpkin Juice $5.99

Some other prices I remember are
School house Steins $18.95
Snitch 12 or 15 I think
rememberalls 14
Hedwig puppet 29.95
Fanged Frisbee 15

Those are from my best memories, which can often be off. Prices were expensive but on par with other parks I have been to. They do have more expensive thinsg like brooms which are like 200 or 300 bucks a pop and beautiful figurines.

Does any know the updated prices for items inside WWoHP? I am really interested in the photo taken durning the FJ ride as well as the candy in Honeydukes.

I think the FJ photo is about 30 for just the one. They have more options too for higher prices obviously. I didn't think butterbeer was that much, YIKES!! A robe is $99. The candy is pretty expensive but most of it is really good...especially the chocolate. The cauldron cakes are like $4, but trust me if you're a chocolate cake love...they are to die for!!! :littleangel: You can see some of the prices in the online shop. http://www.universalorlando.com/Shopping/Theme-Park-Shops.aspx I always go prepared to spend a ton of money, bad way to go about it but it's true. lol

You can get butterbeer for less if you don't get the cup. The cup is nice to have though because you can get discounted butterbeer refills and low cost soft drink refills for the rest of the day.

I'll just add that good size plush Buckbeak was about $25.

I didn't know about the low cost soft drinks! I'll definitely be taking advantage of that! Thanks for the tip!! I love the cups and mugs, we have a ton of them that we use all the time!

It was certainly true last year. We stopped at several vendors to get a Coke or Diet Coke refill for some small amount.

Yes you can get a soda refill in your HP mug, it's .85 cents or around that anyway. -I think it's the same price as the larger refill mug, but at less than $1 if the HP cup is the only souvenir cup you want (not the big sippy cup lol) it's still a good deal.

Yeah that is a super awesome deal!! Because usually if I want to have a drink to carry I just splurge and buy a bottle. But if I'm taking a rest I sit down anyway so the mug will be cool!!

So the butterbeer collectible cup is smaller than the regular refillable mug, but can be refilled with either butterbeer or soda? Does it have a cover? And is it just refills for that day, or like the other cups, for longer?

I was going to get the refillable soda cups for my family, as we'll be there all week, but now I'm thinking we should get the butterbeer ones.
