Has anyone else seen this on the discount link above?
Has anyone actually gotten these prices for their rooms?
I believe that the price for the room is at full price correct? Then it cannot be $73.
Or is it $73 per person, per night on the room alone - meaning $146 plus tax per night

I am assuming this doesn't include park tickets correct?
The post totally confused me

HELP!!!!

A 5-night/6-day package includes: (longer and shorter stays are available)

5 nights at a select Disney Resort
6 Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket
FREE Disney Dining Plan
3 night minimum length of stay - 14 night maximum

Booking Dates:
4/07/08 – 6/22/08 - Disney VISA Card Holders
4/10/08 – 6/22/08 - Everyone

Travel Dates: 8/24/08 – 9/20/08

Prices start at:
$57 per person, per day for family of 4 at select Value Resorts (std room)
$73 per person, per day for family of 4 at select Moderate Resorts (std room)
$104 per person, per day for family of 4 at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (studio)

It's per person per day based on a family of 4, staying 5 nights with 6 day base tix. That would make the total package for a moderate $1460.

That is what I don't get

Pricing it through Disney I received a total for 2 of $1302.62

2 adults (no children)
Free dining
5 night stay Sept 15-20
Moderate resort
6 day base tickets

With 6 day park hopper the total was $1398.46

For comparison I priced it for 2 adults, 2 children age 5 with the 6 day base and got a total of $1690.46

I don't see how it is possible to get a total of $1400 for 4 at a moderate
I double checked that the cm was putting the DVisa free dining offer on the reservation

Can someone verify that I am looking at this correctly

Pehaps "Family of 4" according to Disney is one child under 3, one child 3-9? That would get you to very close to their #. Otherwise, I get the same thing, about $1690.

I called and asked for the same thing....used Caribbean Beach standard as resort.

2 adults/2 under 9 with 6 day base tickets is $1690.46.
Price with 2 adults/1 child under 9 is $1496.54

Interesting? Maybe you should contact a TA and have them do some pricing for you! Lots of good ones recommended on this board...Magic For Less, Magical Journeys, Small World, Dreams Unlimited. Maybe they can unravel the mystery!

Disney's family of 4, is 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 under 3.

Price based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child in a standard room at a Disney Value Resort

Since 10 and above are considered adults (for pricing) the Junior would be 3-9 and the child would be under 3.

That is not correct

Ages 10-17 are juniors
Ages 3-9 are children
Ages 2 and younger are considered infants and don't count towards the room total because there is no charge for the dining plans and park tickets

My email I got for Disney Visa states the $57 a day is for a family of 4: 2 adults (those ages 18 and over), 1 junior (those 10 - 17), and a child (those 3 - 9). It was for 5 nights/6 days at a value resort with MYW base tickets (I can't see where it says how many days).

I priced a vacation out and this is how it pans out:
2 adults
5 day MYW base
Pop Century - Standard Room
$1108.88

Here are the prices I got for August 26-Sept 2
2 Adults/2 children(10yo) + 1 day base ticket(We have AP's), inc Tax and Ins
Value-1089.60
Moderate-1614.32
WL-2409.80

I just booked for 2 adults-POP--(9/6-9/10)4n/5d--5 DAY park hopper-$926.74--FREE DINING--:woohoo: --(remember that weekend days,FRI & SAT are more)

I just booked @ ASMovies 9/14-9/18 5 nights free dining 2 Adults 1 Child (5yo). The cm quoted me $ 991.36 for the package w/ 5 day base tix, preferred room. I downgraded the tix to a 1 day base for the 3 of us (already have hoppers left from last trip) and that brought the price down to $684.64 I tried to downgrade to a standard room but the cm told me I would have to bump to Asmusic or ASsports. I 've heard mixed reviews on those so I decided to stay w/ Movies.
