Priceline questions????

Earning My Ears

I have seen many postings about priceline and would like to know
-people have stated that a hotel is now appearing on the priceline site. When I went to the site I did not find anyplace that lists the hotels. How do you know that the Hilton is now appearing on priceline?
I'm a little nervous about committing to an unknown hotel. Are you able to cancel if they phone you and tell you your at a hotel you don't want to stay at?
What I meant is that people are starting to get the Hilton SOMETIMES when they bid for a 4* in the WDW area. The way priceline works is that if they accept your price, your credit card is charged immediately. You can't get a refund if you don't like the hotel. The hotels are NOT listed on the Priceline site. Scroll down on this board and read all the priceline questions --you'll learn a lot about how this works. You'll also find a link to travelsheryl's wonderful site about how to bid. Good luck.
So if you want the Hilton, call the Hilton directly. However, if you want a great deal on a 4-star hotel, give Priceline a try. I believe that 4* bids have been accepted at WDW Swan/Dolphin, Marriots Orlando World Center, Wyndham Palace, and recently the Hilton.

Depending on the time of year you want to travel, when you bid, and your bidding "strategy", you may be able to snag one of the aboves for about $55-100/night.

Definitely check out TravelSheryl's Priceline page:
Priceline and Expedia Bidding Forum

There is also Bonus money available if you have an American Express card. AMEX will kick in an additional $20/night up to 5 nights if you use their card. Here's that link:

Priceline /AMEX Bonus Money

Good luck!

Thanks for the list - something to keep in mind for my next short trip. have the Nikki Bird listed as both a 2* and 3* hotel. Have they been re-rated? Are they 2* or 3* now?

I wanna go back to the SwanDolphin! I wanna, I wanna, I wanna!

Oopsie. I must have had a stutter somewhere. Yes, the Nikki Bird is a 2*.
