Has anyone ever used priceline.com to find airline tickets? Until I searched on priceline, the cost for a round trip ticket to Orlando from Virginia was around 275. Then, I went to priceline and did the name your own pirce thing and playing around I entered 50.00 and they came back with tickets for 48.00!! Now, I'm hesitant because they don't give you a time or what type of airline your taking. You have to pay for them before you can get all of that information. Has anyone ever done this before? Did it work? What type of plane did you fly on?

Priceline has changed how they do airline tickets. However, you still don't get to know the airline and/or flight time until you pay. Also, you cannot make changes. This is what they guarantee

"Your trip will start between 6am and 10pm on your travel dates. Although we always look for non-stop flights first, priceline flights may make up to one connection each way. We will issue convenient electronic tickets. "

I am not sure what you mean by they came back with $48? Did you put in a bid including the credit card?

I suggest you go to www.biddingfortravel.com and read the entire FAQ section on airline bidding.
