Price of WDW Golf Cart Rental?

I was going to use Tee Time for this trip. But were only going to need a cart for 3 days. So with his $60 drop off and $60 pick-up fee. Plus taxes was not all the much less then renting on site. For a longer stay I would go with him in a heart beat. You also get the roll down rain shield and Kenny says his carts will go faster. certian times of the year that rain shield is well worth it with the showers.

Welcome to The Dis. :thumbsup2

I believe the $60 fee is for both pick up and drop off.

It's just over $200 for a week rental, and I can't imagine $120 of that is in delivery charges.

I reserved a cart from Kenny for August. He is the nicest guy. Very helpful, explains everything and he also told me if we had any problems his phone is on 24/7. Can't wait til August!!!!:yay:

I'm baaaack :)

The service from Tee Time was excellent. Showed up right on time and picked up right on time. I saw 2 other of his carts around FW while there.

A couple of differences I noted about Kenny's carts - they only have a small rear view mirror on the drivers side versus the full mirror on Disney's carts AND Kenny's go a bit faster.

I would use him again in a heartbeat!

We just returned from a week a FW. Kenny dropped off 2 carts on Sunday morning and then met us the following Saturday at 7am for pick up. The carts were great and he was a pleasure to deal with. Very accomodating to our schedule. I would use him again and reccomend him to anyone looking to rent a cart at the Fort.

We just booked 8 days with Kenny @ Tee Time for $244, based on everyone's recommendations. He was a pleasure to deal with. We'll be down there in about ten days so we will update!

We just got back and used Kenny at Tee-Time. Great guy ... would use him again. Like others have mentioned he is very accomodating to our schedule - and our cart was brand new. He made sure my husband put a little air in the one tire ... wants to make sure everything is ok! He mentioned that he was carrying insurance since his business has picked up. When I originally booked with him he mentioned that he has received so many booking recently that he had to buy some new carts! Two thumbs up for Kenny :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'm just hoping all this outside cart renting doesn't make WDW put a trail fee on the outside carts, as in people who own carts and bring them. I would hate to pay that.

I would deal with Kenny any day. We had a flat on the golf cart picked up a screw in the tire and he took care of us quickly. Kenny was a pleasure to deal with. Tee Time 407-276-0809.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

So does that mean that I don't need to worry about insurance?? I wondered about that!!!

We arrive this Saturday at the Fort and are staying in a cabin so after reading this thread yesterday morning I called Kenny. We had a golf cart reserved through Disney for $402.00 for the week, now we have one reserved with Kenny for $224.70 for the week!!! Needless to say we cancelled the one with Disney.

Kenny sounded like a great guy and he also told me that anyone that uses him will be sent a coupon in September for 10% off a future rental.

Thanks to everyone for the info on Tee Time.

Does anyone know the hours for Kenny at Tee Time? I am having a hard time reaching him.

I guarantee you that Disney will catch on to this and start charging a trail fee for outside carts. In the future we'll be saying remember when you could bring your own cart.

And then there will be many of us sitting around campfires trying to remember the name of the campground at Disney since it has been so long since we have been there. You can only add so many fees and keep raising the price before enough is enough, and it is getting close to the breaking point for many, including us.

After our last trip I can tell you that FW is starting to lose some of the "magic". Maybe it was paying $120/night for a site, maybe the attitudes of the CM's could have played a role too.

As far as Kenny's hours, he is open 24/7, I think he is just extremely busy. He is a solo operation and I think there is some campground that has been keeping him busy.:rotfl2:

I'm glad he's doing well with it. I'm sure Disney has many carts rented and probably doesn't notice. Hopefully he doesn't have a name on the cart, because that will raise eyebrows. I agree with the rates but like they say "It's Disney" :rotfl2:
