Well, thought I'd more or less made a decision (2 weeks at CBR next July). When I went to check the price they've added another £100 to the total. Is this likely to keep happening or can I also expect that it might decrease at ssome point? We are looking at a total cost of around £5,700 including flights and QSDP with tickets. Can't seem to get much cheaper than this. Does this seem like a good price - I'm not too sure as have never been before.

Could also do it with WDTC for £2,700 and book flights later. At present these are coming in at £2,900 for 2 adults and 1 child. Is this a reasonable price or would I be better waiting until August to book when more scheduled flights become available?

Sorry about all the questions.

I think we'd all give our right arm to understand and be able to predict what prices are going to do! :rotfl: In my experience, prices generally increase they don't usually decrease.

We tend to book the package with WDTC and add flights later (either with WDTC when they're released or by shopping around in the flight sales) We have always found this to be the cheapest option. Last year we paid £5400 including premium economy flights and 2 weeks at Saratoga Springs in a deluxe villa with dining plan. This year paid £5200 for the same deal. That's 2 adults 1 child (9). I think £5700 is high for a moderate resort with economy flights.

I would book your deal with WDTC and deal with flights later. I genuinely think flight prices are too high right now because the operators know that people want their whole holiday booked and only a few operators are able to offer flights. Wait for the other schedules flights to come out during the sales

Wow! I think I'd take that right now! So, would you advise booking the accommodation now whilst they are offering the free dining plan - then add the flights later, or just wait for later in the summer?

Can I ask who you flew with and at what time of year? We have to go in July/August.

At present WDTC are offering Saratoga Spings with Dining and 14 day tickets for £3,300 but that is for a studio, not a villa.

Sorry for asking yet more questions.

Sorry for asking yet more questions.

All of the accommodation at SSR is considered a villa, the studios are really big and have a little kitchen area.

2012, we flew virgin premium ecomomy in February staying at SSR with free dining & tickets.

2013, we are flying BA premium economy in October staying at SSR with free dining, tickets & $200 gift card.

Both times we've booked the hotel deal as soon as it came out and got flights later.

Our summer trip 2012, we flew Delta/Air France Economy via France and stayed at Port Orleans Riverside with free quick service. Flights were £515 each.

I would not wait beyond July 1st to book your hotel, tickets, dining, gift card package. The deal that WDTC offer gets worse as the year goes on and now is the best time to book it. You can always add flights later and shop around for the best deal. We booked our flights in December for our trip in October in the BA flight sale.

Unless you're convinced you want that particular resort and free dining actually saves you money then think about booking via the US site.

We've booked for this year (just did hotel yesterday). We got flights indirect to Tampa for £500 each and Pop Century for £880 for the fortnight. While there are cheaper off site hotels, we're currently converts to onsite as the buses really work well for us and extra evening hours in MK are great even if they are diminishing.

So even eating whatever we want whenever we want at any restaurant in Disney, I'm pretty confident we'll be better off than the many 1000s Disney are asking for "Free Dining" next year.

Thanks. Will look at the US site (if I can actually get on it).

WDTC say we can add flights later, although not sure of the cost so would have to wait and see. But was thinking as their deposit would only be £150 would be good to secure the room and if all else failed could cancel if I cannot get reasonable flights.

Took the plunge and booked it! 14 days next July at OKW. Will look to add flights later. If I cannot get something of good value can always just lose the deposit - but seems like a good risk to take as the deal on accommodation, food, tickets seems very good to me. pixiedust:

Also look at USAir flights - we have found these to be good in the past and plan to use them again next year.
