Disneyland website states that you can decorate cookies at "Woody's Roundup" near Big Thunder Ranch. How much is it or is it free?

Thanks a million!

We bought cookies there last Halloween time, but my memory isn't remembering the exact price. I think it was $5 or $6 per cookie. You got it in a box with different colors of frosting (way too much of it in fact), and then you could decorate to your heart's content.

I remember the price at $6 as well. This was so much fun for my DS's! They had a great time.

Yummmmmy! Do they do this year round or only holiday time?

We bought cookies to decorate at Princess Fanatsy Fair the place that sells food there. It was shapped like a Castle. My grand daughter had a lot of fun decorating it too.

I don't remember the price (but $6 sounds about right) - but this year you can choose either a pumpkin shaped cookie or a bat shaped cookie to decorate. They even have a grayish icing for the bat!!!

Oooh... thanks for that tip. A castle would be cute!

We did the cookie decorating 2 years ago at the Reindeer Roundup. We really enjoyed it! Here's our results:

At Big Thunder Ranch they do Halloween and Holiday cookies. PPF does castle cookies all year round.

Like PP, $6 and you can choose between the pumpkin & bat. Each box comes with green, orange, & purple icing, a popcicle stick for spreading it, sprinkles and face parts. :) Oh, and even a wet wipe.

Oh I'm definitely doing this! Thanks for the pics and info.

Can I do it without a DD or DS? hehe Looks fun for ME! :)

(Hey, me and DH picked WDW of all placed for our 10 year wedding anniversary. What do you expect!?!?!? :rotfl: )

Is this only offered at DL or do the have this at WDW too? Thanks in advance:)
Hoping WDW too. :)

Were the cookies actually good to eat? Iknow they're edible but are they yummy?

Hubby bought the cookie without DS in sight, so they don't care.

You might have to ask on the WDW forums for WDW.

The cookie was a general sugar cookie, and was actually good. Also it was very basic ingredients. The frosting, however, was pure junk, and caused a corn syrup reaction in my son which was NOT not not not fun. (he becomes rage-filled and violent when he has corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup or corn syrup solids...disneyland is a bit mine-filled b/c those ingredients are just about everywhere)

I discovered about a week later that there was a full list of ingredients on the bottom of the box (not hidden at all,; hubby and I were just being idiots).

But the cookie itself was quite tasty (I ate it after DS's reaction to eating a quarter of the cookie, LOL).

I want to do this with DS too :goodvibes looks like lots of fun. is there somewhere nearby to sit and do it or do you just carry it round until you're ready.

Wow - I think you god spend months in DL and still find new things to do, I only have a couple of days and they are already jampacked! wish I could stay longer :sad1:

Big Thunder Ranch has plenty of tables that you can sit to decorate your cookies. The tables have covers and the area is very halloween-y.

The show that is performed up front is pretty good also, it seemed to involve lots of kid participation.
