price for AKV?

Anyone know how much the 2br AK villas are? I couldn't find the price for the 2br only the 1br. Also, I know the Kidani village 2br will be a little bigger. Anyone know what the price of this particular room will be once completed? Thanks in advance!

I'm looking at rack rates but may have someone who is willing to sell me points. I'd like to compare and see how much I'd be saving in the event I could buy points from someone. They haven't discussed in detail how I would do this and how much they'd charge me per point. Any idea of what points are going for? Thanks for your help.

The average is $10.00 or $11.00 per point. I've seen them listed for $12.00/point & sometimes $9.00/point (few times only).

It depends on what "season" the trip is, and weekend night is almost double the points of a weeknight in most cases.

Thanks!! We've always been curious about renting points from the DVC member, especially for part of our Disney honeymoon!

Looks like, for our tentative dates, it would be 11 points/day for 5 days. So, by renting from a DVC member would it really only cost around $110/day for a Savannah studio??? Wow!!! Maybe we will look into this!

Thanks for all the replies. Still, does anyone know what the rack rate is for the 2 bedroom at the AKV? The one in Jambo and then also Kidani which I assume will be more since it's bigger and is expected to have an additional bathroom.

You know what, it's strange because I checked mousesavers rack rates and allearsnet rack rates and they don't list the price for the 2 bedroom villas at AKL. I wonder why??? Well, you can tell by looking at the 1-bedroom savannah view rate that goes from $505-715 a night (depending on season) that renting points is going to be much cheaper. Even if you have to pay $12 per point it's probably only going to run you about half of what the rack rate would be.

I don't know the exact rack rate but our cousin got a 2BR paying cash at OKW and the rate she got was 670 per night - then got a AAA discount to bring it to 600 per night. She said all the 2BR they offered were the same price - but weren't avaialble for cash rental. Love OKW but in my opinion, for that price per night, Mickey ought to be in the room making breakfast!

Have you priced two regular rooms at AKL? If you were willing to go offsite (and I know some people are not willing to do that) there are Marriott Vacation Club Villas about 5 minutes off property by the world center that are huge 2br and also 3br for about half of what the rental amount would be. We stayed there for years and it is a great location and easy in and out and has nice facilities.
Just a tidbit of info.
