Previously unavailable dates at Ent. rate (RP)

There have been a couple of threads this week about people booking the RP at Ent. rates for August.

I just wanted to let everyone know at least some of these dates were previously unavailable! I called at first daily, then twice-weekly, then weekly starting a few months ago to get the Ent. rate for August 6-10, and the only available hotel was PB ($155). After reading threads this week, I tried again, and was able to secure the RP ($110) for those dates.

Just wanted to let anyone still waiting and hoping that they have a chance for Ent rates still coming out!

Now if I could just decide which ressie to keep and which to drop.....

Thanks for the heads up Patti! I just took a look at the online fan club rates and they opened up some dates also that were not available last week when I checked! Going to call in the morning and check for the entertainment rate again!

Thank you!! I just called and checked on my RPH reservation and was able to change my rate from $146 fan club to $110 ent. This rate was not available when I made my reservation last month. I probably would not have bothered to check back if it weren't for your post!

I just called today for a friend of mine and was able to get the entertainment rate for July 31-August 5th for RPH for $110. I couldn't believe it was available this late!

This is our first trip to US/IOA. I have read these boards religiously for the past couple of weeks. I wanted to make sure that I understand correctly...Entertainment rates are only given when you call in to make reservations? Any codes or just ask for rates? Plus these entertainment books I have read about...where do they come from? How do you obtain one?

Just call reservations and ask if the Entertainment rate is available for your dates.

You can get the Entertainment books at www.entertainment.com. You don't need to have the Orlando book; you can get one for your local area and take advantage of the local restaurant coupons.

When is your trip? If you're going after Nov. 1 you'll need the 2004 Entertainment book; these should be going on sale soon.

I used the entertainment rate for the Hard Rock last year and only had to show the card at check-in. Is this the case now? Do you only have to show them the card
