Ulu for dinner.

Cheese pizza for the kids. My wife and I split two entrees. We ordered the Hawaiian Dinner Plate and the Catch of the Day. Sides were Mac Salad, Salad, and Rice.

The fish came with a nice spicy sauce and I definitely recommend ordering rice as one of the sides with it.

Everyone also ordered a Dole Whip for desert.

We entered extremely hungry and we are walking away very tired and full.

Ok, time for a quick pick me up before a walk along the Ocean…. My Mom, Aunt, and I will split the French Toast and have an Iced Coffee (Americano Style…. not an adult having a milkshake and telling themselves it’s coffee).

For the record, people can have their own CC assigned to their magic bands if you have multiple parties in one room.

2nd breakfast after a long walk down to Marriott and back.

Note: My wife wanted me to mention that the mimosas are a very strong pour. Probably 75% sparkling and 25% POG.

Chair report: Most of the prime seating was taken by 7am (i.e plenty of shade and preferably with an ocean view). Plenty of non-prime seating (which is the majority of the chairs) was available at 8am…. however lots of people were walking out to the pool at that time. Long lines at the wrist band stations, rainbow reef, etc. prior to their opening.

I’m not too stressed about it. You’ll see why soon…

Love this tip. I forgot when we did the sailing canoe from Aulani. Oh my, my feet got so burned.

First Full Day = Cabana Day!

Hot Tip: People will cancel their spa and/or cabana reservations the day before and so it always makes sense to check the inventory the night before if you were blocked out when you initially called. I wouldn’t wait until the morning of because the line at rainbow reef can be long.

Lazy River is 82 degrees, Hot tub is 102 degrees according to my Apple Watch.

Watermelon Dole Whips have been discontinued. Options are pineapple, vanilla, and swirl.

1 hour before, after my personal experience was “hurry up and get back to the family”…. I have heard from others who did not leave their spouse with their MIL that they let you linger for quite a while afterwards.

I love a lazy river. My husband has never been in a lazy river at a pool, can you believe that?!

Not a lot of pools have lazy rivers…. I will say that the laziness of this river depends on the number of tweens and teen rushing past you….

Hot Tip: Check for intertubes at the various exits around the lazy river and not just at the main entrance by the water slide.

Parking Structure Hot Tip: Don’t use the p4 exit by the Aulani lobby. Go down to p1 and exit out by the 4 seasons. It has a light at the end so you can make a protected left turn as opposed to driving down the road and waiting forever to make a U-turn.
