Pretreating boots? UGGs and Timberlands

New UGGs and Timberlands. Purchased Kiwi Protect-All for leather and fabric footwear but paused before spraying the UGGs as they are our first pair and didn't want to ruin before they were worn. It's for "leather and fabric footwear," good choice? Also, how long should I allow Timberlands to dry before use.

I've only ever used the official UGG Spray on my Uggs and I think it makes a huge difference. My daughter had one pair that we forgot to spray and they were trashed in about a month. I have a pair that I wear all the time after skiing (often in slush, rain, and snow) and they still look great after 3-4 years. Unfortunately, I haven't tried any other brands on my Uggs but I think their spray is well worth the investment.

Same here. We bought the spray from Uggs and DD's boots look like new a year later (they are a light color).

I've used other brands of spray too but for one that is for suede and Nubuck, not the leather one. I bought the Ugg cleaning kit to freshen up my DDs Bailey Button. They look fantastic!

I have only used the UGG spray too. I would probably just buy that instead of using something else.

I used the Kiwi spray on my Uggs. 3 years ago. No problems that I can tell. Although maybe I should respray. My son got a hold of a cleaning spray bottle with bleach and water in it. He sprayed it near my boots and I have some dots on one of the heels. of bleached out. They had been sprayed prior by 6-8 months. It didn't prevent that damage. Not sure if anything would've helped that?
