Only 12 days left until we leave! Peyton is having a birthday party Tuesday at Chuck E. Cheese, so we are getting excited about lots of things around here. We are waiting anxiously for our itinerary from Make A Wish. I hope it comes soon! Synovial

I just got a call today from our wish granter and they are coming to our house this Sunday for the wish presentation and bringing pizza. We can't wait!!!!!! We leave in 8 days! Synovial

I have talked to our wish granter and found out that our train tour is at 7:30a.m. on November 1st, so this will help us to better plan our schedule. 6 days until we leave!!!!!!! Synovial

We leave in 3 Days!!!! We are planning on going to Sea World Saturday our first day there. The boys are going to wear their costumes and trick or treat there. Sunday we are going to One of the Universals I'm not sure about which one just yet. Monday we are going to Animal Kingdom in the morning and then over to Hollywood Studios. Tuesday we are going to Magic Kingdom, where we will do the train tour and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Wednesday we are going to Epcot, and Thursday we are going to Universal and the Christmas Party at Give KIds THe World. We go This Thursday to pick up our rental van and drive down early this Friday morning!!!! We are staying at the Radisson at Celebration at Disney Friday night and then Saturday we will be changing over to the Contemporary for the rest of our trip! Synovial

I got panicked yesterday! Our wish granter called to see if we got our check. She said she looked at the UPS tracking online and it said it had been delivered to our front door, but I was home allday and didn't hear or see anybody and I opened the door and looked and didn't see a check. So she said she would check on it. THe wish coordinator called me and said they used my old address that was on my drivers license from a year ago when we started this before I had my address changed. That is the only time they have used that address for anything they have sent me! THe UPS supposedly left it there. I went over there and looked around and called the current owner and there was no check to be found, so they voided that one and cut me a new one late yesterday evening and now I am running to Atlanta this morning to pick it up. I am not leaving anything to chance this time since we are leaving early in the morning for Disney! Synovial

We have our check now and our rental van. We are leaving in the morning for DisneyWorld! I have to go now and finish packing. Synovial

Have a great t trip and say hi to Mickey and mater for Davy!!! They are his favorites. I can't wait to finally take him back on day to met them. He doesn't remember going.

We are back now! We had an amazing time. Our first day we went to Sea World. The trainer let us feed the dolphins and actually had a dolphin come over to us and lay in front of us so that we could pet it. Preston loved that! We also went Trick or Treating there and got a whole bag full of candy. Our second day we went to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone with any kind of disability. They really don't work with you there. Preston was in a wheel chair and could not bend his leg, so there was a few rides that they would not allow him to get on and directed him to other rides instead of allowing him extra room to ride those rides. They really didn't want to work with him and we talked to someone else the next day at Disney that was in a wheel chair and said she was treated the same way. Our third day we went to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We ate at the 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch and the Sci-Fi Dine in at dinner. Our fourth day we went to Epcot and loved that. Our button and pass got us on the rides in front of everyone also we got to go first in line to meet the characters. Our next day we went to Magic Kingdom and did the behind the scenes Train tour at 7:15 a.m. with only 12 other people. We were the only ones in the park. We stayed and did the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party until midnight. We were exhausted, but we did make use of the Wish Lounge for a little nap. Our last day we went to Universal Studios. It was a lot better that Islands of Adventure. The boys particularly liked ET and Men In Black. On our way home we stopped by the beach. It was the boys first time at the ocean. We were shocked when we got to the Contemporary to check in and were told we had a room in the tower. It was really awesome. When we opened our door we were looking at the monorail and we had a sliding glass door with a balcony overlooking Bay Lake and the pool. We could see the electric light boat parade from our room. We were given Honorary Guest buttons from the Contemporary and we got back to the room one evening and had a large painted white chocolate Mickey and a pluto for each of the boys from the contemporary. Give Kids the World were really nice to us. The boys got a bag full of toys and books when we checked in and half way through our trip, they called and asked if we were okay and needed anything. We did their Pirates and Princess party and Christmas on Thursday. The boys were really excited about picking out their present. We went on their horse and buggy ride. That was really nice.
