Preston's Pre-trip

We are trying to freshen up on our Disney to get ready for the trip, so we have started watching all the Disney movies in chronological order starting with Snow White. It' going to take awhile. We have all of them, except the Fox and the Hound. Synovial

I'm 16 and a wish child and I'll going to my Wish trip in 2 days!

YAY! That's awesome that he gets to stay where he wanted I don't know how wish trips work and what the rules are but are you allowed to take him to Disney Quest separately and pay for it yourself maybe?

We can take him to Disney Quest out of our own pocket, but I'm not sure how much it costs and we are on limited funds right now, so I don't know if it will be possible or not. Synovial

I have never been to Disney Quest, but it really sounds like fun! I hope you guys will be able to do both!



Do you guys have dates yet? Do you happen to know where you guys will be staying?

We have a definite date now. Our room is going to be booked for October 29-November 3rd. They are giving us a rental van from October 28-November 4th. So We will be leaving October 28 and be staying at the Contemporary at Disney. We are not going to be able to do DisneyQuest. They will only let us do one, so we are doing the train tour. Preston is getting really excited. Synovial

Remember not to plan doing Disney World that day as the park will close early for the party and if you don't have tickets to it- you can't stay during it. Check the schedule of events for sure before planning what days to use which tickets- even Universal has their Halloween party some nights and those are separate event tickets too! I think Sea World has a free Halloween event though- maybe you could go there that day? Hope that was some help.

We are lined up to pick up our rental van on October 28 to head to Disney world. We will be spending one night in a hotel on the way down and the rest of the time at the Contemporary. We are going to Disney World for 3 days, Sea World for 1 day, and Univeral for 2 days. While we are at Disney World we will be doing the train tour. Preston loves trains. We are coming back home on November 4th. Synovial

Thank you! Preston is actually doing worse today than he was yesterday. He has had to resort to using his walker all day today and I had to give him some Lortab for the pain. I'm hoping he will be doing better in the morning. Thanks! Synovial

We have been checking out the Disney Parks websites with their hours and events and checking on the hours at Universal and Sea World and trying to plan our days out as to when we go to which park to be able to get the most hours in at each one. Preston is also interested in eating at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, so we are going to look into doing that while we're there. Preston has decided he wants to get an autograph book and have the Disney characters sign it. Everyone is getting so excited about going! Synovial

We are getting excited more and more everyday about our Disney trip! We have started thinking about our packing and have started a packing list as we think of things we should take, we put it on the list on or refrigerator. I just hope it doesn't get so big we can't close our luggage. Synovial

Preston wants to go eat at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. We called to make reservations, but they told us they were all booked up, but gave us a number to call to see if they can make an exception for Preston since he is a wish tripper and really wants to eat there. We tried today, but it was too late and they were gone for the day, so we will try again tomorrow. Wish us luck! We have 22 days until we leave! synovial

18 days until Disney! We are planning on going to Chuck E. Cheese's on the 18th for Peyton's birthday and then we leave 10 days after that! Lots of excitement going on around here! Synovial

I just talked to our wish granter tonight and she is going to check and see when our train tour is so that we can better schedule our days around it. It sounds like the plane is only for 3 people and Peyton really doesn't want to go on it, so I don't know if we'll do it. Synovial
