Massapequa Park, NY here. We will be at BLT 2/20-2/25. Looking for golf partners if anyone is interested.

Spent February of this year at WDW. Froze our hynee's off. The lifegaurds were wearing hats and gloves. Hopefuly it will be warmer in 2/11.

We are hoping to go. We are using all of our points for BLT in two weeks so we are looking into staying somewhere cash. It is just so nice to get out of NY in Feb. We froze this past President's week also. The year before was awesome, though. We don't play golf, sorry.

I was there the week after last year (and am going the week after this year) and it was COLD that week, too! Here's hoping things are warmer this year.

We just cancelled our week at WDW for Presidents week for four reasons:
1. the colder weather in Feb
2. the crowds - really a tough week for patience:headache:
3. DS 15 now declared that he is "Disneyed Out" :scared1: after going there three times in the last 12 months.
4. Jet Blue's site indicated $600 per person round trip out of JFK - no way I'd pay that much - although I do realize the closer we get to the date the more bargains crop up.

So instead, since I'm coordinating a business convention at WDW in June, I'm arranging him and DW to come down right after the meetings.

Plus I can write off all my expenses of the trip.:cool1:

Did part of that week this year for the Daytona 500. That is part of the reason it is so crowded this time of year. Not only was it COLD and crowded, we got to see the Pothole 500 in Daytona.
Hope for a better time and weather in 2012 when we go at that time.

We froze there this past Feb. They year before was much better.

This coming Feb we are going to Disneyland. Adventure Season at VCG!!!

We are making a split vacation.

2-19 to 2-21 BLT
2-21 to 2-24 VBR
2-24 to 2-26 VWL

Hope for some sun, want to leave the cold of the north behind.

We will be there on our annual out of the gray and cold of western NY in Feb trip. Last year was our beach year (with a little WDW to start) Brrrrr.....:cold: Definitely didn't get good weather but I guess it was a little pay back for all the beautiful President's weeks we have experienced in the past.

This year all BCV!! ...and I'm hoping for swimming weather!

Just made ressie for DH and self at OKW for 2/13 to 2/18...I love Valentine's Day at WDW!

Hoping to score 1BR villa with river view in the South Point neighborhood - never stayed there before. We usually request Old Turtle Pond Rd area.

Now to daydream about where to make dining ressie for Valentine's Day. We're not Victoria and Albert romantics or cuisine types either, just good solid down home stuff. Anyone know if the steaks are still great at Shula's or the Yachtsman?

We are booked 02/17-02/26 at AKLV. Last year we went to WDW for a day before our cruise and it was cold. It was colder than the time we went in December. Crossing my fingers it is going to be warm. I don't want to leave a cold state for another cold place.

Sorry can't help with the golf pinnocchiosdad. Friends that are coming with us golf but want to spend time at the parks. They haven't been to Disney in 6 years.

We have been going for over 15 years presidents week and last year was the ONLY year that was so cold for the entire stay (10 nights), with that being said it was much warmer then CT! My aunt has a house in Florida and pretty much all of Jan and Feb were cold (must be global warming lol)

We pick presidents week because we love 65 - 80 degree days to do parks and usually it will be 65 for a day or 2 and then have several days in the 80's. Very little rain, and we get out of the parks by noon (take advantage of magical hours in the a.m.) during the long weekend. After the long weekend is done we find the crowds are not bad at all. We went in June 1 year and I found the crowds far worse and the heat made me a lot less patient to wait for things.

We are really bummed that our school system has gotten rid of Feb break this year (right after we joined dvc) so this year instead of 10 nights we are doing 6 nights at BLT and are arriving 2/15 - 2/21 2 bedroom unit. Now pondering when we can find a new time to go for a 10 night stay!

Booked our airfare yesterday. OUCH. had to cut the trip one day short because it would have been $200 more per person to leave on a Sunday as opposed to a Monday. We will save a little money on a 4 night trip instead of 5 nights.

I'll be there with several girlfriends from 2/25-2/28 for the Princess half marathon. Not sure where we are staying yet. Some want to stay offsite.:scared1: I'm trying to talk a few of them to stay at POR since I won't be using points.

I hope it's not insanely crowded. Not sure how much time we'll spend at the parks anyway.

We are going that week for the first time ever. My boys get the week off from school, and we have some points that we are going to lose, so we will use them that week and hope for the best - crowdwise and weatherwise. I don't know where we are staying yet, my new points should be in my acct in a couple of days and I will book a 1 bedroom then.

We will be there 2/23-2/28. Split stay BLT and AKV Jambo. Last two years we went in Feb (not pres week) and it was too cold for me. This year we booked our April Vacation (1st Cruise on DCL ). Then I decided to do the Princess HM. So we are back in Feb. :cool1: My kids have no idea how lucky they are!

Will be there 2/18-2/26. DS graduation gift. Staying at our home resort BCV It is the third time we have gone this week. Had great weather in 2008 & 2006.
