Preshows kind of suck 90% of the time

Peter Pan doesn't have a pre show
I'm talking about the "pre-Que." The Darling's house.
Which, to many, is actually a better "show" than the ride, itself.

I see, you wrote pre show on your post which is why I was confused. There is a difference though, the pre show you have to stop and watch, where a themed queue you walk through it as the line moves. They have the themed queue for HM open now s people are walking through it but the pre shows in the ghost host room and the stretching room are just walk throughs now. I agree that all pre shows help the story development even if it's the super long FoP one

I love the ToT pre-show, it tells the backstory and sets the mood. That said, I used to love 5-10 years ago when they had evening EMH that weren't very busy and they would have one library running the pre-show and the other open so you could just walk through. Allowed me to get 6-8 rides in a row in a pretty short amount of time. HM is another one I really enjoy. Overall, I think the pre-shows add to the enjoyment of the ride. FoP is one exception for me. That two room pre-show just seems slow and annoying.

I agree. I was showing a Youtube video of the ride to my 6 yo since she's never been on it. They showed the entire pre-show. Yeesh! It didn't seem that long in person. It's close, but feels like it's barely shorter than the actual movie up to the point where he rides the Banshee.

Some I like a lot, some I can do without. I will miss Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror most this trip.
