Hi all...I was just wondering if anyone has had their bouquet preserved, or if anyone is considering it?

I thought about it, but didn't, no particular reason.
Since my bouquet was hand tied, I was able to dry it.
It now sits in on a nice shelf, it is a still pretty, and reminds us of our day.

I had mine preserved and placed in a shadow box along with my tiara, our wedding invitation and a 5X7 photo of us on our wedding day. It came out amazing and I am glad I did it.

Thanks, Ladies!

I did some research and decided that my budget is just a bit too tight for preservation :sad2: And I do so love dried/preserved flowers!

But I did find a place that will do a custom water color painting of your bouquet and all you have to provide is a photo! I'm hoping I can get that done later for an anniversary or something...so I'll just be taking LOTS of pics of my bouquet!
:p

You could also try preserving your own flowers. You can purchase the kits at craft stores and give it a shot. The way that keeps the flowers looking the most natural is via the silica gel, but you could do it the old fashioned way and just hang each flower upside down from a hanger using a twist tie, then making your own arrangemnt/design. If it will be a few days before you can do something with your flowers, you can cut the stem ends, put them in fresh water that you change daily and keep them in the fridge. They should last a few extra days that way.
