Hope, I love all of your stuff!! I'm like Kat--I'm lucky enough to have several of the pieces. Many of them are at home in my scrapbooks now!! I especially love the Haunted Mansion stuff!!

Now. . .the things I don't have! I love the AKV borders!! And, I think the Alice in Wonderland borders may be my favorite thing I've ever seen!

Well, I already have dibs on the Woody & Pete, I was kicking myself for not joining all the Christmas ones, so I'll want that. I have the Briar ones and love those, I the WL ones & I think the Peter Pans one, need to go back through all my boxes of swaps, love the dalmations ones, I have the 4th of July... here's my list

Surprise Swap III - Opening day is Saturday morning September 1st

I am still working the details out on how the Hope group will work. I will have to have at least 2 groups by the sounds of the response. But I think what
will do is Each person in the group will make whatever they are making.

If I understand it correctly, Hope is making each person in that group thier very own surprise. So it is a group but the items from her will be individual. Correct me if I am wrong on that one, Hope.

The groups will be of 6. The number of Hope groups will also depend on How many individual items she wants to make. I am going to keep track through this thread though and I will see what the count is, and talk it over with Hope.

I am also going to be doing a couple Non-Disney groups. Just to add a little flare.

Okay I'm I the only one who is "Hope-less" on my received swapped items!?! I'm so bummed out.....

Your stuff is fantastic!! I really love the items you've made for characters you simply don't find anything to scrap with, namely the Briar gang. I'm a Pluto addict and I love the Cuties tags you made - especially since I have a new puppy named Mickey! I'm so in if you have several groups.

Thanks for sharing your blog. I have bookmarked it as well as the Spanish site you mentioned for clip art.

Hope - are you using an exacto to cut out the cliparts on those that are obviously cut out?

I have been known to use an exacto knife, I have one with the swivel head. But most of the clip art, I just use my fiskars fine tip scissors.

The response has been so positive, yeah, I think we might need two groups. Or if people want 3 items, I guess that might even be 3 groups. And if someone doesn't want to participate in the Surprise swap, I can arrange something separately too. I am making things for Nancy, even though she is on swap hiatus.

I figured how things would work, is we'd have our group of 6. And it would be just like every other group, you all make identical items for the rest of your group. It's just what everyone receives from me will be different. However, I am realizing that you guys want a lot the page kits, and I don't know if you guys are up for making page kits for everyone, that would be a lot of work.

So then I didn't know if people really wanted everything in a kit, or just one or two items. Or we could use the value list in the "Pass it Forward" thread. So make items for everyone, and then if you needed to add something to my bag to even things up a bit... Making a kit out what you made is good, store bought is good, redoing elements from previous swaps that I missed out on is good, cutting things out from cricut cartridges is good.

They started out as my cross-stitch scissors, and now they do double duty.

I've definitely, gotten better with them with practice. When I was cutting stuff out last night, I was thinking, "I remember this stuff taking forever when I did it the first time."

Okay, everything is up now. Well, everything except for my Morocco pieces from the Epcot Newbie swap because I sent those off without realizing I would need a picture of them for this.

And now my scrap space is a complete disaster! Binders, pieces and paper everywhere. So I have to clean it back up before I can attempt to make anything.

And then I'll go through some of the recent swap pictures to see what of your stuff I want. Bwaaahaha.

Well now!!!! I guess I should be concentrating on scrapping instead of swapping. I've done no scrapping in the past 2 years of swaps...can you believe it!! I don't even know what I have. I've done scrapping for other people and for the history book for my singing organization, but that's it!!

Oh, that reminds me. I don't think I can redo the Asia stuff. I used the 2 sheets of the paper from the Far East stack for the swap, and unless there are single sheets for sale somewhere, I don't want to go buy another stack. I could cut out the letters, and I have one more of the metal embellishment, and I could send those, but that's about it.

I think that was the only piece that I was concerned I couldn't redo. The MGM lyric, any new ones wouldn't have the earful tower sticker. I had some AK squares that matched the Tree of Life, but I didn't even scan them, since I knew I couldn't redo them. Also, I am limited on the striped paper for the Shrunken Ned. I have enough for now, but it was another paper I bought the last of on clearance originally. I haven't checked online for more though.

Oh, and if you need ToT stuff (and, I checked, you do), then I need that Indiana Jones stuff you made for the MGM swap.

Oh my gosh, guys! I have added up the requests so far and there are almost 30 of them! And I know I will want to do other groups, and the AK swap. It's a good thing I don't work, and don't have kids.
