I remember reading awhile ago that there were a few catering firms that prepare meals and deliver them to the Villas. I tried the search engine on this site and came up with nada. Does anyone remember the name of them? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

I have one called Creative Kitchens saved in my favorites just in case we needed it. The website still appears to be there.

Can you post the website or send me a link? I have tried to do a search, but keep getting construction sites.

thanks.

Lisa :)

I just signed up for the information available about this company. If it's not too expensive, my wife and I will try it for a while, give her a break, and I'll report back to you.

It would be such a neat thing to do while resting your feet in your villa after a day at the parks.

HAPPY VACATIONING!
Tom

we are going to WDW this week and will be using the service........

I emailed cooks4u.com. I will pass on any info I get. Asked about having turkey day dinner delivered to the BCV. This is our 2nd trip at Thanksgiving. Last time we ate at the Yatchmans. My family didn't want a traditional turkey dinner out because it wouldn't be the same. So I said "I am on vacation, let's eat out and not order turkey". That was fine with all of us, but considering what that dinner cost for 4 adults, our sons are 27 & 30 and this year one is bringing a friend, I thought this might work out well. Looking forward to any reports aout this.

You might also consider the holidays meals offered by Publix. We did this two years ago, and it was great. We had turkey, gravy, potatoes, orange-cranberry dressing and some other things, can't remember. It is all prepared. All you have to do is heat it. The turkey comes in a bag, inside of another bag. You take the outer one off and heat the turkey in the bag. You order your meal based on how many you are feeding. The price was very, very, very reasonable. When hubby picked ours up, everything was packed so nicely in a box and everything had reheating instructions on it. We took the ingredients for a couple of our favorite casserols and it was like turkey day at home. I would not hesitate to do this again if we were there for the holidays. The Publix is over by the outlets on the other side of I-4, just a couple miles from Disney property.

I rec'd an email reply. They had Thanksgiving Day menu pkges last year and will do the same this year. When the pkges are done they will email me with the info.

RweTHEREyet - I did read about a dinner available at Publix. We shop there on all our trips. Will check that out also.

I like the idea of being able to use cooks4u.com because they are available all year. We usually fit in 3 trips a year. Sometimes we have a large group of family and a meal in the villa sounds very relaxing, if it is prepared by someone other than me.

bongo59 - that menu sounds great. Looking forward to your report.
