Premium Plan for One Night Just for the Tours, LaNouba, etc.??

Do you think we have enough time to to the parasailing starting at 1:00 and still get in a shower before the Poly at 5:00 ???
If not would it be better to move my days to Tuesday/Wednesday so that instead of the fireworks on the first night we go see LaNouba and then do the later Luau show on Wednesday.

What about the weather ... Does anyone think it will be way too cold in December to do Parasailing and maybe some tubbing ???? Do you wear your own swimsuit with their life jackets or do they provide stuff to wear that will keep you warm in the water?

Due to the fact that my daughter will only be 9 when I splurge for the Premium or Platinum Plan trip, I want to clarify something... On the Platinum boat rentals are completely included at no additional charges and on the Premium it's just a 15% discount? Truth is my daughter would love the horseback riding, boat rentals and carriage rides more than anything else at WDW.

The only tours she can do appear to be:
Disney Family Magic Tour (Either Plan)
Behind the Seeds (Either Plan)
Epcot Seas Aqua Tour (Platinum Only)

Has anyone heard about the Wild Africa Trek being included with either plan? I can see it being part of Platinum because of the cost.

We are booking Premium, but if Wild Africa becomes part of Platinum I might switch so that I can do that and Dolphins in Depth. Fingers crossed because I would love to try both of those!

I called Disney yesterday as I have 6 nights booked in November on the Platinum Plan. I was told as of now it is NOT a part of either plan. I asked if I book it and it is not a part of the plan and then it becomes a part of the plan will I be refunded and they said yes. So now how bad do I want to do it with 7 days of tours tours tours!!

How does that sound?? Do you think there is time to go back to the room to shower and change for our Fulton's reservation if we do the watersports?

I was tempted to do the first day totally not in a park to save the 1 day ticket. But these are our only 2 days at Disney (we are spending our time this year at Universal) So I was thinking I would regret not seeing my favorite EPCOT. But it does cost us about $350 more.

On day 1 between your lunch and bikes and dinner I would add a professional portrait package. It only takes about a half hour to 45 minutes and you can pick out what photos you want a couple of days later to save time.

For anyone who has done Dolphin in depth tour. Since you don't need park passes for this tour do they make you leave the park afterwards even if you have passes? Also is it over right at 12:45? We really need to do our lunch in Epcot because we'll be going straight to horseback but if we have to exit the park and renter I don't think we'll have enough time.

We didn't do Dophins in Depth, but we did the Aqua Seas, and its the same idea. Since no park passes were needed or used, we were 100% escorted into and back out of the park. We exited the Seas building out of a back entrance and the tour continued until we were back in front of the guest relations window outside of the park.

Now, we didn't have park passes for the day, so that was fine with us. I don't know if you have passes, you would be allowed to end the tour inside the park, so I can't quite answer your question, but it seemed pretty clear on our tour at least that they fully intended the tour to end outside the park.

And, again, it wasn't exactly the same tour, but we ended slightly early. The last 30 min or so are really just changing back into dry clothes and showering, and getting your "gift" for doing the tour. If your group is fast changers, or a smaller group, it may not take the full time (there were only 5 of us on our tour, all adults). On the other hand, if people take their time showering and dressing, it may take a little longer.

We did botht the Dolphins in Depth and the Aqua tour. For the Dolphins, a couple in the group askes if they could go into the living seas instead of back to the gate (they had passes) and were allowed. We just went back to the front as we were running off anyway. After our Aqua Seas tour all who has passes were allowed to go directly into the Living Seas area.

So my question, what do you do with your stuff/how do you dress for a busy Premium Plan day? I'm trying to figure out what to wear and carry for a day that is as varied as KTTK tour in the am, parasailing and jet skis in the afternoon, and HDDR in the evening (or alternatively, Epcot's Around the World Segway, bass fishing, and La Nouba). It seems like you need water clothes, walking/sneakers, and nicer/dinner clothes, but with no time to go back to the room in between, how do you manage that? Our days have downtime in them to relax, but not enough to go back to the room. Do you carry a change of clothes with you? If so, where do you put that stuff while on the tours or the water sports? Is there any sort of lockers or storage while you are on jet skis, or the bass fishing boat? If you go minimal, what do you wear that would work for all of those activities? So many questions, so confused.

When I went parasailing and jet skiing I didn't wear any water clothes and I didn't get wet. There are lockers between CR and the marina that you can use, however. And the bass fishing boat was large enough to take a backpack on--but there again I just wore my regular clothes and it worked out fine.

Also, once when DH and I rented a Sea Raycer the CM let us leave our bag with them. It didn't have anything valuable in it so that was no problem.

Thanks! I forgot about the possibility of there being lockers at the resort pool changing areas. We will have to think things through, but that may be a good option for at least one of the days. Agreed that we won't have anything valuable, just a clean/non-sweaty shirt for the evening might be nice.

Just saw this-thank you for the answer. I think we have decided to stick with our Premium Plan for now so we don't have to do the 1 night deluxe. But it would have been interesting-1st night PoP, 2nd night AKL, 5 nights CSR-all categories covered but a lot of moving

Thank you for your response. I'm sure my DH and DS will handle their own bait if that's allowed-they are experienced. I think DH has in his head that it will be like fishing on the pond here at home and I can assure you they STINK when they get home, but I think it will be much different.

Backpack and change of clothes just in case

I just found out about the Premium plans today while on a tour over at Animal Kingdom. One of the other guests on the tour was doing the 1-day thing and she told me all about it.

So I just want to run this idea past you all and see if it is crazy. I'm currently in Florida until the end of February, mostly jumping around between timeshares including Disney. Originally, I was looking at booking at one of the value resorts for the gap nights I have here and there, but none of the dates quite work for either availability or price.

So instead I'm thinking of booking a tent site over at Fort Wilderness for one night during a week that I'm scheduled at at an off-site timeshare and and then just not use the site. The dates and price work. I figured I could go and check in at Fort Wilderness early in the morning and then just head straight to my next destination without bothering to drive into FW.

Would the Disney cast members at Fort Wilderness find it odd that the tent site wasn't used? Would they even notice? Would I have to bother returning the next morning to check out?

Bookings are hard to get for folks that actually want to stay at the Fort, availability is limited.

That really gets a lot of people upset when a campsite is booked at Disney and it doesn't get used.

Disney doesn't care, but people trying for campsites do.

Is that something that commonly happens enough for people to get upset over it? I just can't imagine it actually being the case -- especially since there's availability at FW two weeks from now, but none at any of the Value resorts.

Just to clarify -- I'm talking about a tent site, not an RV site.
