I haven't been here in a while....any PREMIUM (not platinum) trip reports to read about???
Thanks!

First... the facts...
*This is a ladiesonly trip for 3 nights with the Premium Plan scheduled right in the middle to allow maximum premium FUN!
* 2 of us are DVC owners and so we are using points to stay 2 nights at DVC hotels. Our middle night will be a POP so that we could purchase the Premium package!
* All three of us go to the World once a year as chaperones on a school trip which has us on the move from sunup to sundown... so we are used to the non-relaxing type of WDW trip!So... this is trip is all about us and PREMIUM FUN!

Jami, Dawn, and LindaBeen to Disney a combined 75+ magical visits!
Never thought of this. We are going next year, probably staying at CSR. We could do the Premium package and do all of the tours and La Nouba, not to meantion eat.
So how would this work if you wanted to do it say in the middle of your stay. We will most likly come in and leave on a weekend. Would I have to have 3 different reservations?
(This also means 3 different deposits.)
Yes, you'd have to have 3 different ressies to do it in the middle of your stay. (This also means 3 different deposits.)
Good point, I did not think of that. Since most of the tours are during the week I don't see much way around this since we plan to come in on a Friday (May 13th) and leave on a Monday (May 23rd).
So if we do this for 1 day we get to use it for 2 full days. Did I read the PPs correctly?
Does anyone have a spread sheet or even just a list of what days and times each tour is offered?
I hate to recreate the wheel.
I want to be all ready to go as soon as possible. Still trying to figure out exactly what to book. I am getting close to the 180 day mark, how long should I allow for contacting the, is it IPO? Can I do it the same day I book the ressie?
go to wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tours.htm... that's what we used. I don't know if it is completely up to date but it worked for us.
I have been doing some research on this since I saw this thread yesterday. It appears that most (all?) room discounts are not valid if you want to purchase the premium/platinum plans?
Not really a big deal if you are staying value or campground and doing premium, but I am especially interested in platinum (Victoria & Albert's, Living Seas tours, spa treatment, fireworks cruise, etc!) and that also requires that you stay deluxe, so that's another big chunk of change. However, I am pretty sure I could still easily get my money's worth with one night. (Two people eating at V&A twice (can you do that?) and two massages is worth $750 alone)
My only other hangup is the fact that I have an AP and having three seperate reservations on one trip will probably require me to buy several park tickets I dont need, but at least I can always save them for the future!
Thanks again for bringing this topic up, its a great idea!
Which of the Disney Spa's provides this particular massage @ 2 for $750?
The $750 that I mentioned would be the value of eating at Victoria and Albert's twice PLUS a massage for each person. The massages are $125 each at Grand Floridian.
I was just turned onto this thread today and spent the day in awe and trying to digest it all. My 40th bday is in Feb (over President's weekend) and DH and I are trying to come up with a plan. This would be our first trip to the world without our kids, and we were really looking for some different things to do.
I would appreciate it if you could look over what I have started to figure out and tell me if I am on the right track so far....
Here it goes...
We would check in on Thursday, Feb 17th (late in the evening) room only. Not sure what on-site hotel yet. Can't look at prices yet. (I think they come out in August?) We are thinking Moderate but maybe Pop. (We usually stay at POR since we are a family of 5, but have stayed at All Star Sports once when we shared a room with my mom....) and then "check out" the next day.
Then we would "check back in" on Friday, Feb 18th early in the am (like 7am) with the Premium package and pick up all of our tickets and then we can start touring on Friday and continue through Saturday at Midnight.
*One question I did have is when we book the premium package, I know that we have to get a pack ticket with it. Since we are going to be there until Monday can we get 4 day park tickets even though we are "checking in and out?"
Sunday morning we need to "check out and then check back in" to the room only portion of our trip....and then we leave on Monday.
I've read that people link the 3 ressies together so that "hopefully" they will not have to change rooms during all of this checking in and out! That is what I am going for as well....
Ok, now onto the touring plans...
On Friday: DH really wants to go golfing at Magnolia so I was thinking that he could get an early tee time (I guess that he could go by himself and they would put him with others - he doesn't even mind going on his own) and I want to do the 7:45 or 8:30 Epcot Segway tour.... then I would hang at Epcot and ride the rides (maybe do the Behind the Seeds tour - anyone ever do that?) and wait for DH to meet me at EPCOT.
Lunch at Le Cellier (maybe around 1:00)
Hoop De Doo Review (7:15)
On Saturday: My Birthday!!!
We were thinking of doing the 8:30 Keys to the Kingdom tour, dinner at Ohana (5 ish) , and 9:00 LaNoube
Since it's February all of the watercraft stuff is out. I wanted to go horseback riding, but I can't see how I can fit it in transportation wise... How does this look? Am I missing anything? Do I seem to understand how this works??? Thanks so much for your help!![]()
