Premium Plan Certificates

Just trying to decide on going with the Premium or Platinum plan. I was wondering if the Cirque Du Soleil certificates are dated. Also are the firework viewing area certificates dated. Wanted to see if I could go to Cirque Du Soleil the day after my Premium plan ended. It would free up some time for other tours or dinners during the plan.

I have read here before that you can only use the entitlements of your plan through midnight of your checkout day (for the plan). So if you were staying a few more days with a separate reservation, you couldn't use them.

I've seen that the Cirque Du Soleil is a certificate that you receive when you check in. The entitlements are redeemed with the KTTK card. I was wondering if the certificate was dated, as it seems it is in physical form.

When we went on the platinum plan, our stuff was definitely dated. Also, keep in mind, you need to make reservations for all those things too ahead of time (which you probably knew). I just had the poly IPO take care of stuff. I don't recall actually needing to use the certificates for anything since they took care of it all. But, it's been a few years and mom brain so I could be wrong

Cirque Du Soleil is the biggest question.

In the brochure it seems to be separate from the rest of the options linked to your room key/band. If it is a certificate you redeem at the box office, it seems it might be able to be used outside your stay.

We didn't have any type of certificate, just gave name and showed ID at the pick up window. I don't think it would have worked to change the date at all.

When we did it in 2012, you had to reserve your Cirque de soli tickets on the phone in advance. I remember being on the phone picking out my seats/date. Same with the fireworks cruise.
