Pregnant...need easy crockpot recipes

Congratulations!

Not a crockpot recipe, but just as easy and super-fast to make:

Pasta e Fagiolio

In a fry pan, saute one diced onion in a good amount of olive oil until browned.

Separately, cook 1 box of small macaroni (like elbow, ditalini or rotini) in salted water. During the last 4 minutes of cooking, add one can of cannillini or chick peas.

Reserve 1 cup of the cooking water, then drain off most of the remaining water. You want to leave it a bit wet; it's a soup.
Add a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of tomato sauce (or one can of tomato paste).

Toss with the olive oil. Serve with crusty bread and a green side dish like broccoli rape' or sauteed spinach. A little grated cheese is also yummy, added to each dish.

I don't have a crockpot recipe, but can you eat chicken salad? I make up a bunch of it for quick dinners (either on bread or on top of lettuce). Roast chicken breasts in the oven, cool and chop, stir with some celery, apple dice, walnuts or pecans, a bit of mayo. I also add some diced onion, or scallions. I change up the mix-ins, too - once I made it with a curried mayo and tossed in pistachios, apple, raisins and some shredded coconut.

You have my sympathy re: your nausea. For me, this pregnancy is shaping up like my first one and I am so ravenous I can eat everything in sight. When I do have the seldom passing wave of nausea, I grab a Ginger Chew & that seems to work for me. Good luck!

Hubby has a really stressful job and works 12+ hour days. He gets home around 7 or 7:30 at night, so I feel bad asking him to make something to eat, too. :lovestruc

I was totally teasing you - sorry if it didn't come across that way...

When I got PG with my DD after 11 years of trying, DH treated me like a QUEEN! I can't say that I didn't milk it a little bit :rolleyes1, and I have to admit it was nice that DH cooked some meals (and cleaned the bathroom for me, and any other thing requiring chemicals)... We're back to "normal" here now that she's 2. I'm no longer the queen. :)
