Just found out my DIL is pregnant!!! I heard there is a pass in DL that allows a Rider-Switch so she is not standing alone for the rides she is not allowed to go on? Any idea if something similar is offered at DW? And if so, how do you start that process???

If your daughter-in-law wants to wait in line and then step away before the ride boards, she doesn't need a pass -- she can just wait in line (using LL as necessary, just like everyone else) and ask the castmembers in line where the best place to exit will be. There is always a "chicken exit" or exit method at some point. On Star Tours, for example, she can just walk straight through the ride vehicle as it loads and wait on the other side. On Tower of Terror, there is (ironically) an elevator that non-riders can take up to the exit before the other guests board the ride elevator.

I support the suggestion above - she can go through the line with everyone and then just use the chicken exit before boarding. I've never heard of a rider swap pass being granted to an adult who was able to wait alone and simply didn't want to. And the actual rides are generally over soon enough that she may or may not have enough time for a quick rest room stop!
