I think this is really true. 7 some odd years ago my DH and I tried for 7 months to get pregnant. After being asked like a million times when were we having kids I confided in a friend and told her we'd been trying for several months. She suggested geritol. I went to the drug store and purchased the geritol. She told me to wait for the first day of my period and I did. 4 weeks later I was late and yep - pregnant. The little one pictured below is 'proof'. Okay rewind to 2007. Again, everyone (including my DH and DD) is bugging the heck out of me about when are we going to have another baby. Oh I came up with every excuse imaginable. My job, my advance degree, my time, my weight. You name it, I said it. Then, one day, my DH asked and I said yes. I think I was pretty settled and ready. This was this past July. I said let start in August. In a sarcastic manner I said, I'll give it two month because I don't want to be pregnant during the summer months. I went online and figured out my ovation days, went to my OB and got his heads up, and baby making season began. It didn't happen in August and I was really disappointed. When my cycle came I thought of what my friend told me many years back - geritol. I went to Walgreen’s and purchased both the liquid form and the pill form. I take both (the liquid is disgusting btw). During my ovation days I had to go out of town for two days, but we did what we could. Friday before last I was three days late. I called my doctor who was able to see me the next day - I'm pregnant. I can't believe this. It's almost surreal. Maybe there is something to this geritol. Anyway, I just wanted to share and hear your thoughts about geritol and pregnancy. Has any one else experience this.

Oh, BTW, my doctor did tell me that Geritol has a lot of alcohol in it, so I switched from geritol to prenatal vitamins.

However it happened... I mean, I'm happy for you all. If Geritol helped that's cool. I wonder how many other people have tried it.

CONGRATULATIONS!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks - I did a google of geritol and pregnancy and there is a lot of people out there that swear by the powers of geritol. It has coined slogan, "a baby in every bottle".

Congrats on your pregnancy!

That being said, it takes the average couple up to a year to get pregnant. So even after a few months, you still weren't medically infertile. I just wanted to point this out, that although you may think geritol assisted you in getting pregnant, that Geritol is not a cure for infertility.

As someone living with infertility, I sometime cringe when people offer me their unsolicted tips on getting pregnant, and believe me, I have heard them ALL! LOL!

Congrats again on your pregnancy.
