Preferred Seating for DVC members?

Just wondering if anyone knew if you could get preferred seating tickets if you are staying in DL/CA through your DVC points? We are in the Villas at The Grand Californian, so we obviously didn't buy a package. Thanks for your help!

You can enter DCA early through the GCH entrance and get a WoC ticket earlier than the general public. This is a benifit to all resort hotel guests.

Thanks, that I knew, but we have Preferred Dining reservations at Ariel's Grotto for WoC. Very excited for that!

However, I am asking more about seating for shows such as Aladdin at DCA. We have seen it before, but the kids have not. I don't remember needing preferred seating as it seems people get now to see the shows.

Sorry! While I have been to WDW a million times and can help with questions people have over there, it seems to be very different in Disneyland! Thanks again for anyone's help!

As far as I know, DVC members don't get any special seating at Aladdin or Fantasmic, just the WOC fastpass like all Grand guests. Might want to ask the Concierge if there's any way that Grand guests can get preferred seating though. They tend to treat DVC members the same way they treat on-site hotel guests. You could probably even call GC in advance and ask them ...
But we've usually been okay with regular seating anyhow.

And the preferred seating for Aladdin is pretty bad (it's way up front and down, in the orchestra section) because so much of the show takes part up above (so preferred seating people have to crane their necks while those above can just look out) and in the aisles (have to turn around in your seat and then you never get the full effect). And when we used our preferred seating, we had to actually check in BEFORE those in general seating were in line, then we were LAST into the building. NOt a big perk for us at all!

This what we usually do with the PS for aladdin. Even though we rented points our key to the magic had "DVC Member" stamped on it. I asked about privledges and WOC is it as far as I know now. We were invited to a DVC presentation but did not want to take away from the park time.

When we had PS for Aladdin we were right where Molly indicated. It was not fun. We were in the second row, the four seats on the end, we thought it would be great but nope...it was terrible. We hardly even saw the parade or the stuff from above, we were not happy.
Since then we've taken to sitting on the second level (mezzanine) and we've loved it every time. Honestly, even if we had the PS vouchers for Aladdin we wouldn't use them......
