Preferred Rooms w/ code

Was anyone able to book a preferred room at CBR with the new codes that were released this week?

I thought that I read that someone did and then I also read that someone else was told that preferred rooms were not allowed with the code.

I had to switch from preferred to water view in order to apply the code. I just want to know if it will be worth my while to check everyday to see if a preferred room becomes available.

My reservation was originally for the Preferred room. I told the CM when I called to apply the rate to the existing reservation that I would rather pay full price if it meant losing the Preferred room at CBR. She said it wouldn't be a problem.

But, when I logged in later I saw that she indeed switched me to a Water View room! I called back and they switched it back to a Preferred room and still allowed me to use the discount code.

I would call back and try with another CM. Maybe they didn't know that you could?

When booking a rm at cbr under the new code, we ask for a king and the cm told us they had preferred rms to, but thats not what we were looking for.Also on wdw web site you can see they are offering this type of room with the new code.

I have been checking online everyday and no preferred rooms come up for my dates. I didn't know if that was because there were no preferred rooms available at all with the code or if none were available for my dates.

Maybe it is yours dates we are going in dec and I see you are going in nov. But I would keep trying, cause last year we were looking for a king bed at pofq with a code and there was none to be found so every day I called and then one day (my lucky day) there was our king bed either that or they got tired of me calling. I wish you luck.
