Hello! We will be heading to CSR in February. We have stayed there once before in a preferred room. If I cut my budget which would mean staying in the least expensive room and one less TS meal, I would be able to get tickets to Disney Quest. I have 2 boys 12 and 15. Thoughts on Disney Quest price and if it is worth it?
At this point they don't know what they are missing and are satisfied with using arcade at resorts.
Thanks
Mary Ann

When we go, we don't ever book a preferred room. we have been upgraded to preferred rooms, but we always believe that being in any Disney Resort is already being in a preferred spot. IMO I would not give up the TS meal, but that is just me.We usually go to Disney Quest every trip, and my daughter and husband have a blast. But we always book the Parkhopper and Water park fun and more option, so we have that flexibility.

Enjoy the trip, whatever you choose to do!pirate:

I would cut the meal and preferred room and add Water Parks Fun and More. It is only about $5 more than a one day ticket to Disney Quest and you get as many entries to the water parks and Disney Quest as you have days on your tickets.

CRS (which we LOVE) is a huge resort. While we do love the resort, we would not love a room in one of the more remote locations. We were upgraded to a preferred room our first stay there and now we will not choose this resort (which we LOVE;) without staying in and paying for a preferred room . Would not risk the odds of a free upgrade.

My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE DisneyQuest! Your kids sound like the perfect age of kids who would really enjoy it. I'd definitely go with the DisneyQuest pass, I could almost guarantee after they go, they'd be eternally hooked and thankful

I don't mind walking to my room a bit, especially since there are bus stops throughout the resort, so I would probably go with Disney Quest.

Thanks! We have always been in early February and have never ventured to the water parks so didnt even think of this option!

I think your kids would love DisneyQuest, for sure! We went there for the first time a few months ago and had a blast. We have stayed at CSR 4 times and love it there, too! We have stayed in the Ranchos (the furthest section from the main building) and really only found it to be about a 10-minute walk. I personally think the size of CSR is over-stated, but others disagree.

I'd only go to Disneyquest if it were included in a ticket it is NOT worth the money. And that's coming from my 2 ds's...who've been there plenty of times, and find it dull after the first hour,if that. Spend your money elsewhere....

My boys have been to DisneyQuest literally a hundred times and would still want to go every day of our trip if I would allow it. They have gone for years and is still one of the things they enjoy most. The water parks are atop our list of favorite parks as well. Now the tickets include mini-golf and the PSP station at WWS so I would say it's a better deal for your dollar.

That is a great deal! We never use all of our WPF&M entries but play mini golf. When did they change it?

It's new with the new ticket rules and prices that were rolled out today. You can only use the WPF&M entries to play mini-golf before 4:00 pm, though.

If you don't have the no-expiration option on your tickets and any WPF&M entries will expire after your trip, then I'd use them on the mini-golf. If I had the no-expiration option, I wouldn't, since minigolf is something like $12/round and it wouldn't feel like I was getting as good a value as the $50/day water-park entrance. But if my ticket is expiring, I'd sure use as many options as I could! :)
