Which loop do you prefer the most based on site size, privacy and noise?

I will take a bite at this.

I've camped in all 3 loops.

In reverse order, noise is almost equal (due to proximity). The only difference is I was at in 100 (and 200 so close would have been the same) for the WDW CM canoe races off the Fort dock the week before Thanksgiving ( i posted extensively about it in my 2022 trip report)) the van driving up by the Settlement TP and slamming doors was a noise factor. But you don't say WHEN you plan to go.

Size varies in these loops. Some are big, some are small. You can't reserve a specific "big" site because you get whatever is being vacated or open on the day you arrive. 300 has a twisting curvy road which means tougher to back into and the only loop that has yellow "get back" stripes painted where the site pavement meets the road pavement (of course when backing in, watch for trash cans, utility pedestals, and your neighbor's F250 [he's at Epcot and can't be there to move his truck when you arrive and try to back in - but a hellofa nice guy if/when ya'll chat] ).

Privacy is similar in 200-300 and a little less/closer in 100.

I see Peach has posted and she has a good answer for most folks. Me, personally, because I travel small (A-frame popup) I prefer 100 loop (see my signature for the loops I've stayed in) but you don't say what you have/will use trailer/rv wise.

So it's still a very vague question which begets a very vague answer. Which do you value more/less: size, noise, or privacy? Me, I value 'loop location' the most.

PS - loop 100 from my site I could see the boat dock when the boats arrived at the dock (blew their horns), backed off the dock (blew their horns), and the nightly carriage/wagon horse rides clip clopped past our site several times a night. It's the most easy to walk from to Pioneer Hall, Trails End, HDDR, Settlement Bus Depot, Settlement Trading Post, or FW boat dock for Electric Water Pageant, boats to resorts and MK and so on.

We stayed in 305 for years.

He's not kidding. Years. Those were the good old days when you could roll back-to-back 30 day reservations for as ... long as you wanted to.

That site is up close to the main road but when you get back in the loop it gets a little tight and twisty when trying to back in or pull out. Again, it's the only loop with the "get back" lines painted on sites (park behind the painted lines and not closer to the main road, please).

PS - hi Mike. Hope you and DW are living the life wherever you are! :wave2: Good to hear from you.

Like bama_ed we have stayed in all three loops almost exclusively over the last many years. Our favorite has always been 100. We have never been impacted by noise (maybe because we're usually inside mh with AC on when at campsite and leave early).
Love the normal area noises, boat whistle, fireworks, nightly light parade, etc. and the easy walk to and from buses or boats. But, if not available ,we have no complaints with other two loops except longer walking. So far have had no issues backing in with assigned sites.
Privacy? What's that at Disney?? Lol
