Does anyone know about the prefered fireworks viewing that is part of the silver package?

We have the silver plan in October and I inquired thru disney and dreams unlimited. It is for Illuminations...not the firewords at Mk...it is all a little confusing to me. You can make the reservations thru WDW...or your TA.

I booked my silver plan thru AAA and recieved vouchers for

preferred seating for the Mk fireworks, illuminations, and Mickeys

Jamin Jungle parade. I am not sure if it automatically comes with

the silver plan without booking through AAA.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :smooth:

In MK, the location is at the end of main street, towards tomorrow land, across the water from the Castle. You can watch Tinkerbell fly quite well from there.

You can not see Spectromagic well from this location, however, and it is diffcult to get through the crowds between the parade and the start of the fireworks.

I booked a silver package for December through Disney Travel Company and was told and it states on the reservation confirmation/invoice, preferred fireworks viewing EPCOT & MK and preferred parade veiwing at AK. But I do not know where the viewing is located/if you are given a voucher or ticket to access the viewing area/if you need to arrive half hour/15minutes early ?

I don't know if you were informed, but you have to call ahead of

time and make reservations for the preferredviewing. For the

fireworks it is 10 days out and for the parade it is 45 days out.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

or visa versa can't remember exactly

When you have paid for your package, you will receive a packet of information and documents. Inside that packet are the vouchers for the preferred viewing of fireworks and parades. Each voucher is printed with the event and a phone number to call to make your reservations. You will need to make those reservations to obtain all of the information.

Thank you very much for the info ! I see from your signature tag retired police Lt. and now a part time CM. My goal in life is to retire from my present career and then work part time at Disney ! But I have about 25 - 30 years to go !

The preferred viewing for FIS at MK is at the Plaza Landing near the Plaza Restaurant, Illuminations at EPCOT is on the boat ramp at Moroco and Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade is at the Harambe Bridge next to the Discovery River at the entrance to Africa. You will receive vouchers with all of your paper work after final payment. The phone # that you will need to call when it's time to reserve is 1-407-WDW-TOUR (1-407-939-8687).

Hey Stink!

I was going to PM you, but there was no option. I only had to work 26 years to retire. And I was a "baby" when I started. So I got to retire at an early age. LOL I live on my pension and play with money from Disney.
