Pre-Trip Report for Three Princesses and a June Trip to the World, 6/24 We're Back!!

Hello All - I know it sounds too fantastic to believe, but we just got our first Walmart here. It took about 2 years to open cause they had to build it, then they had all kinds of redtape, and they had to widen the road etc etc. Long story short, the place opened and its mobbed!!!!!

So what did I do today before we went to the zoo?????

Well, I made one final trip to Walmart!!!! I bought the DD's new toothbrushes/toothpaste (Princess, of course) and I also got one more bathing suit for DD2 and DD3. They were half price ($8) and they came with a matching cover-up dress and sunglasses. (I didnt take a pic...guess you'll have to wait for the post-trippie ) We also stumbled upon sparkly nail polish with glitter for 99 cents. Perfect! I added to the nail kit. I am most definately a "kit" person. Put the word "kit" on something and I am all over it. I am actually bringing several nail polishes, remover, file, clippers and cotton. Wow! We will have to have a nail party before we go! Think about it...I have 80 nails to get ready for Disney So all thats left is to ready the house for my BIL who is coming to stay while we are away and try to get plenty of rest. Our first few days are long and we get up sooo early the first day. I will be on here, of course, over the weekend but once we leave, I am leaving my computer at home. I hope I dont regret that but I dont feel like lugging a laptop with me.

Hehehehehehe I am working on the nails thing....actually tomorrow when we get back from the beach. I am going to my friend's house (she is sort of in labor with her third child but not quite ) to help with her two children. We want them to play on the beach and get really tired so poor momma can get some rest. Don't you just hate the last week or so of pregnancy. So anyways, I figure I will do manicures and pedicures after that!

By the way, my hubby is wearing Gator everything...and his "Got Tebow?" t-shirt, etc to Disney next week. He is a big fan!

Go Gators! I'm liking your hubby. It's not easy being a Gator fan here in bulldog country. Its funny how getting that degree was once so important. I've been a stay-at-home mom for nearly 10 years now and loving it!

Aw! That's really good of you Cathy, looking after her other children. Ever since I had kids myself, whenever I hear of a woman in labour my heart goes out to her. I hope everything goes great for her and the labour isn't too long and hard.

So, you ask, why am I on the Dis Boards at 4am?

Well, DD2 crawled into bed with me (about 3 am) and started tossing. After an hour I brought her out to the family room and she felt warm. I took her temp and sure enough its 101.9 F Poor little thing is sick!!!! With what I don't know?

Course its Sunday. They never get sick during the week. My plan is to bring her to our emergency care place to see if its an ear infection or virus. Those are probably the only two choices. Neither very good. Course it could be worse I know. At least I have a little bit of time to take care of it.

So I will keep you posted.....

I, too, was on the Boards at three and four in the morning. I'm still scraping and sanding and sweeping on this huge den floor, so the only thing to do to wind down after hours of that was to Dis, of course. Last time I looked at the clock it was 4:03. As you can see, no matter what time I go to bed, I still get up in the morning. I'm a weird one when it comes to sleep.

I hope that little girl gets all fixed up today and is ready to go on this fabulous trip. It just hurts us so much to see them hurt in any way.

It's good to know there are other people out there who do things like wait up to watch a ticker change. Every thing that can connect you with Disney is a good thing. Our ticker now says 36 days, 13 hours, and 43 minutes. Considering it started out at over 365, I am very, very excited about that!

Hopes, prayers, wishes, thoughts, and pixie dust coming your way all day as you get your sick one better. Happy Fathers' Day to the dad of those three precious girls in your house. He's a very blessed man. My oldest son is a Gator fan, too, so he would think he's a smart man, as well.

Oh dear!!! I hope she is better really fast. And probably if you weren't going to Disney you would probably nurse her for a day and see if the fever persisted. Going to Disney puts the snag on things as if it is more serious, like an ear infection, something must be done NOW! Ugh...urgent care stinks.

I pray for the best for you and hope that it is merely a 24-hour temperature warding off a possible infection...

Oh Cathy!! I hope it's nothing too serious. If I recall, you went to the beach a few days ago. Sometimes my little ones get fevers after going to the beach, it's weird, I know. I think it might be from being in the sun too long, but not uncommon for either of them to spike a fever a few days after a beach visit.
